Rupard -- Richard Glenn Rupard passed away December 8, 2002 in Anchorage, AK. Mr. Rupard was born December 5, 1920 in Mineola, TX. The Army transferred Mr. Rupard to Santa Fe during WWII and he remained there in the auto repair business until 1972 when he joined his sisters in Alaska. There he married Millie guest of Albuquerque in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Millie of Chugiak, AK; children, Glenna Carinci of Santa Fe, Richard Glenn Rupard, IL and wife, Deborah and family of Hobbs, John Ingles Rupard, III of Houston; granddaughter, Carmen Lucero and family of Santa Fe; grandson, Anthony Carinci and family of Euless, TX; granddaughters, Lisa Walker and Cathy Sonnamaker of Hobbs; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters, Nora Collette and Elvina Cody of AK and Jackie Irving of Pittsburgh, TX; father-in-law, Hurshel T. Guest of Albuquerque; and mother-in-law, Alma Guest of Anchorage. Memorial Contributions can be made to Rupard Fund 751-4-0994 at any First National Bank in Alaska. A Memorial Service and Potluck was held at the Elk's Lodge in Eagle River on December 14, 2002. Cremation arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Home, Anchorage, AK.
