Richards -- Dorothy Marie Richards, 86, passed away December 10, 2002. She was born June 1, 1916 in Capron, OK to Elise J. Thomas Johnston and Patrick A. Johnston. Dorothy attended Capron High School followed by two years at Northwestern State Teachers College in Alva, OK. She lived for many years in California before moving to Los Alamos, NM. She worked for the University of California at Los Alamos until she retired. Upon retiring, she moved to Albuquerque. Her last two years were spent in El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Clark Jobes and her second husband, John R. Richards. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Johannah Major; and her son, Patrick Clark Jobes. She had four grandchildren, Genevieve Jobes, Peter Jobes, Winn Ryman and Martin Major; seven great-grandchildren also survive her. A Memorial Service was held at Saint Christopher's Church in El Paso, TX on Friday, December 13, 2002.
