Mims -- Sue J. Mims, age 72, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Friday, December 13, 2002. Sue was active in theater throughout the 70s and performed at Popejoy Hall. She was also a member of the Albuquerque Light Opera. Sue enjoyed arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert S. Mims. She is survived by two sons, Steve Mims and wife, Tina, and Ron Mims and wife, Donna; two sisters, Dorothy Timmons and husband, Richard, and Sandra Childers and husband, Howard; six grandchildren, Kelly, Ron, Rob, Shannon, Grant and Lindsy; and two great-grandchildren. Sue will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
