Lucero -- Charles G. Lucero, 36, went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2001. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 14, 1966. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Teupell, Charlie Lucero and Sophia Baca. He is survived by his mother, Louise Teupell and sons; Justin Lucero and Christopher Lucero, daughter; Felicia Lucero, brothers; Russell Lucero and Trey Teupell and fiance, Joetta, sister; Yvette Teupell and husband, Martin Ponce, grandparents; Salome Baca, Kate Teupell and Esmeralda Lucero, nieces; Diandra Lucero, Rashauna Budd and Laticia Budd, nephews; Martin Ponce and Lavon Budd. Charles will be deeply missed by his loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 27, 2001 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Sanchez, Louie Sanchez, Pete Saiz, Samuel Baca, Paul Tapia and Jeff Tapia. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Esquibel, C.J. Lucero and Mark Serna. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
