Padilla -- Mrs. Maria L. Padilla, 69, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 2, 1001. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her four daughters, Luz Elena Casaus, Elizabeth Perez and husband, Federico, Sara Villalobos and Maria Jaramillo and husband, Teodoro; two sons, Alvaro Marquez and wife, Maria Carrillo and Amin David Marquez; companion of ten years, James Lucero; two sisters, Jesus Martinez and Rita Morales and husband Filiberto; two brothers, Fermin Padilla and wife, Velia and Gregorio Padilla; 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Jessy Villalobos. Visitation for Mrs. Padilla will be Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 noon at Aposanto Alto Church, 2501 Alamogordo NW with Pastor Ruben Guarjardo, officiating. Interment will follow at the Sandia Cemetery in Alameda. Pallbearers will be Alvaro Marquez, Amin David Marquez, Teodoro Jaramillo, Federico Perez, Jessy Villalobos and Frank Sandoval. Honorary will be Jim Lucero. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
