Turkenburg -- Johanna C. Turkenburg, 86, passed away Sunday morning, February 18, 2001, following a short illness. She was born in Indonesia January 7, 1915, the daughter of Marinus A. M. and Maria Louise van Fraassen. Mr. and Mrs. Turkenburg came to Albuquerque in 1954. In January 1999, Christiaan preceded his beloved wife in death. Mrs. Turkenburg was also preceded in death by their grandson, Kevin Archuleta in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lou Archuleta of Dallas, TX, Anita Misurek, and husband, Bob of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Christopher Archuleta of Austin, TX, Michael and Stephanie Misurek of Albuquerque; her brother, A. van Fraassen. and wife, of Canada; as well as other family members. She also leaves many dear friends at the Villa apartments. A Memorial Service is pending for later this week, and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Turkenburg. (891-8200).
