Sebastian -- Lois E. Sebastian, 76, of Eureka, IL died at 1:20 p.m. February 12, 2001 at the Apostolic Christian Nursing Home Eureka, IL. She was born April 29, 1924 at Flat River, MO the daughter of Clarence H. and Jewell Read Seal. She married Alden Dean Sebastian Sr. on November 17, 1945 at Farmington, MO. He died February 16, 2001. Survivors include one daughter, Jeanne (Bob) Boertlein, Eureka, IL; two sons, Alden Dean (Peg) Sebastian Jr. Kilbourne, IL and Herb L. (Carol) Sebastian, Eureka, IL; and one sister, Patricia L. Leach, Harrisonville, MO; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2001 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home 508 S. Main St. Eureka, IL. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Mrs. Sebastian had taught at the Bismarck Missouri Public Schools and was a member of the Peoria Area German-American Society.
