Hurst -- William Gordon Hurst, 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 11 years, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara D. Hurst of Albuquerque; son, Dr. John G. Hurst and wife, Dimitria of Greeley, CO; daughter, Jean H. Richey and husband, Richard of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Sarah R. Schlomann and husband, David of Albuquerque and Erin Hurst of Carnoustie, ME; grandson, William Hurst of Greeley, CO; and brother, Don Hurst and wife, Diane of Salt Lake City, UT. Gordon was a successful businessman and a devoted family man who enjoyed the outdoors. Memorial services will be held Friday, September 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria NE, with Dr. John Cushman officiating. Frency Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
