Cain -- Leta B. Cain, 86, a resident of Corrales, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. She was born in Skiatook, OK on February 21, 1915. Leta will be remembered as a devoted, loving, friendly and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her beloved husband, Roy Cain of 57 years preceded her in death 7 years prior. She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Williams and Faye Walker, both of Skiatook, OK; daughters, Dixie Dean Armijo of Corrales and JoAnn Broten and husband, Larry of Bloomfield, NM; sons, Kenneth Roy Cain and wife, Josie and Douglas Lee Cain, both of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cain attended the First Baptist Church of Alameda. Services will be held Thursday, 9:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Chris Carlson officiating. Private disposition will take place. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Cain, Lloyd Cain, Roy J. Cain, Eric Cain, Robert Ketcham and Kevin Broten. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sandia Hospice, 4725 Indian School Rd. NE, Suite 100, 87110 or First Baptist Church of Alameda, 8818 Second Street NW, 87114. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
