Gurule -- Carlota (Charlotte) Gurule, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Friday, January 26, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Ernestine Cotinola and husband, Gil, Fran Gurule and Annette Torres and husband, Matt; sons, Edward Gurule and Charles Gurule and wife, Theresa; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, John Chavez and wife, Mela; and best friend, Lolita Baros. Carlotta was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Gurule and grandson, Rod Cotinola. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Saturday, January 27, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. Other services are still pending.
