Jones -- Earl Allen Jones, age 76, born June 29, 1924, son of Harry J Jones and Martha A.C. Jones (nee Hareson), died sunday in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Delia in 1988; sisters, Elsie M. Layton of Pensgrove, NJ, Frances C. Drabold of Pedricktown, NJ, Mary E. Hafner of McHenry, IL. He is survived by a sister, Dorothy E. Jones of Pedricktown, NJ; stepson, Lester Boyse and wife Carol; and granddaughter Hayley all of Las Cruces, NM. Mr. Jones was a retired veteran of the United State Airforce, awarded 6 air medals for service in the European Theatre during WWII. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Animal Human Society, Heart Association or the charity of your choice. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.
