Gurule -- Lucy R. Gurule was born February 29, 1932, and went to join her husband, Tobias Gurule who preceded her in death on April 19, 1999. A lifelong resident of Sile, Lucy passed away April 19, 2001, and is survived by her children, Toby Gurule Jr., and wife, Stella of Algodones, Leroy Gurule of Sile, Olga Rubio and husband, Ruben of Algodones, Conrad Gurule and wife, Felicia of Sile, Dolores Marquez and husband, Monce of Sile, Julie Salas and husband, Anthony of Bernalillo, Gloria Rodriguez and husband, Martin of Sile; brother, David Segura and wife, Charlotte of Santa Fe; sisters-in-law, Angie Keel and husband, Robert, Sylvia Mills and husband, Robert, Grace Baldonado all of San Pablo, CA.; brother-in-law, Juan Manzanares of Santa Fe; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous relatives and friends. Services will be held at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Sile. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2001. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 with burial following at Sile Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Rodriguez, Monce Marquez, Ruben Rubio, Anthony Salas, Clyde Segura, and Ralph Manzanares. Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Rubio, Aaron Salas, Christopher Gurule, Adrian Martinez, Marty Martinez, Joseph Martinez, James Gurule, Mikey Torres, and Joey Ramos.
