Brown -- Loretta Brown, 91, an Albuquerque resident since 1985, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2001. She was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior and the Lambda Phi Gamma Sorority. Loretta is survived by her son, John R. (Dick) Brown and wife, Karen, of Albuquerque; brother, Francis Phelen and wife, Dorothy, of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, Richard Mark Brown and wife, Bernadette, of Aurora, CO, and Maureen Ann Birdsell and husband, Brian, of Austin, TX; great grandchildren, Victoria, Stephanie and Nicholas Brown, Megan, Abi and Ian Birdsell. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Brown, in 1980 and one daughter, Alice C. Brown, in 1985. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Mary Trudell, officiating.
