Earl -- Charles Jay Earl, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque for 32 years, died peacefully with his family by his side on May 19, 1999. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Langford Earl; daughter, Lezlee Murphy, her husband, David, and their children, Matthew, Kirsten, and Sarah; son, Charles Kevin Earl, his wife, Susan, and their son, Charles Hunter; daughter, Cydney Aranda, her husband, John, and their children, Andrew and William. He is also survived by brothers, Ken and Gary Earl; and sisters, Jean Keddington and LaRae Johnson. Jay was born in Ogden, Utah on June 25, 1923. He spent the early years of his life in Utah. In 1967, he moved his family to Albuquerque, working as an engineer for Ampex until his retirement. His love of the outdoors included fishing trips to Alaska, camping trips with his friends, and gardening. The last years of his life were spent doing for his family. He was a giving, loving man and a void will be left in the lives of all he touched. Jay will never be forgotten. Services will be held on Monday, May 24, 1999, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4109 Eubank NE. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and doctors in the Kaseman Hospice Unit. Their kindness and caring allowed us to spend peaceful time with our husband and father at the end of his life. Flores -- Antonia C. Flores, age 91, passed away May 20, in Albuquerque following an illness. Antonia was born September 10, 1907 in Puerto De Lunas, NM to the home of Santiago and Vicenta Olona Chavez. She was reared and attended schools in Puerto De Luna. Antonia loved gardening and working on the family farm with her husband and family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all her family. A lifelong resident of Puerto De Luna, Antonia was a member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Honorato Flores in 1987; a son, Cipriano Flores in 1991; two daughters, Rita F. Sanchez in 1992 and an infant daughter, Eva Flores. Survivors include one son, Manuel Flores and wife, Mary of Santa Rosa; three daughters, Juanita Flores and Predicanda Flores of the family home in Puerto De Luna and Tina Garcia and husband, Lee of Vaughn; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Flores of Clovis and a son-in-law, Lorenzo Sanchez of Santa Rosa. Also surviving is her sister, Rosa C. Griego of Fort Sumner; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. from the Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa, a second rosary will be held on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Refuge Church in Puerto De Luna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. also from Our Lady of Refuge Church with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at El Calvario Cemetery in Puerto De Luna. Serving as pallbearers are Jim Griego, Lee Garcia, Lorenzo Sanchez, Luis Flores, Raymond Griego, Manny Flores, Peter Andrew Flores, Joseph Flores and Jude Flores. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be all her grandchildren. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home, 923 South 3rd St. Santa Rosa, NM (505) 472-3369.

Griego -- Charles M. (Bamboo) Griego, 23, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 21, 1999. Charles is survived by his mother, Connie Montoya; his father, Manuel Griego Jr.; fiance, Sophia Silva; daughters, Victoria and Veronica; three brothers, Norman Montoya and wife, Kathy, Robert Montoya and Jerry Montoya; his paternal grandmother, Petrita Griego; a special niece, Tiffany Montoya; other nieces and nephews, Mallory, Louis, Joshua, Deserae, and Michael; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Charles was a member of the Catholic Church and owned his own businesses, Golden Finger Gold Plating Company, and Executive Producer of Hit-Em-Up Productions. Charles loved his family, especially his children, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., in the Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Mrs. Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Monday morning, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., in the church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Richard Rohr, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norman Montoya, Robert Montoya, Jerry Montoya, Ponfelo Alderete, Felix Lewis and Angelo Armijo. Hartley -- Ruth E. Hartley, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999. She is survived by her husband, James A. Hartley, marriage of 50 years; son, Douglas A. Hartley and Cynde L. Gates and children, Catherine and Chelsey; grandchild, Allison Hartley; and brother, Ray Ronald Rudolph and wife, Edith of Maryland. Ruth was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. Mrs. Hartley was a long standing volunteer for the New Mexico Natural History and Science Museum and previously The Smithsonian Institute in Washington. Memorial services will be held Sunday, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A reception will follow as Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria Rd. NE. Horton -- 1952-1999 Marion E. Horton, 46, a resident of Mid Valley Air Park in Los Chavez, passed away on May 17, 1999. Marion worked as a Human Relations Coordinator for the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard F. Horton; her son, John Scheuch, Jr. of Las Cruces; a stepson, David Horton of Carlsbad; and a stepdaughter, Claudine Horton of Indiana, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by two brothers, Ed Latham of Virginia, and Mike Simms of Maryland; and her sister, Deborah Nice of Maryland. Memorial services for Marion will be held on Sunday, May 23, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel. Hudson -- Iris A. Hudson, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, May 17, 1999. Ingraham -- Gerald Leslie Ingraham, 67, passed away on Monday, May 17, 1999 at his home in Albuquerque, NM. Gerald was a long time resident of Albuquerque coming here from Kansas where he was one of a large family of 13 children. He is survived by one son, Bruce Ingraham of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Lorna Ainsworth and husband, Richard of Albuquerque; three grandsons, Joseph and Richard E. Ainsworth of Albuquerque and Joshua Ingraham of Odessa, TX; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Ingraham of Odessa, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Twyla Yvonne Ingraham. Mendoza -- Theresa H. Mendoza, 64, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 19, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Frank; one son, Michael Grijalva of Moriarty; one daughter, Marie Padilla and husband, Ronny of Peralta; two grandchildren, Melissa and Krystal Padilla; four stepchildren; and she was a loving"Grandma" to another nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The rosary will be recited on Monday, May 24, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 833 Arizona SE. Church services will be held on Wednesday, May 26th at Holy Ghost Church at 10:30 a.m. with burial following at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Richman -- Anna K. Richman, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, May 17, 1999. Anna was born on October 26, 1913 in Chicago, IL. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Richman. Anna is survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Loren Klar; and beloved family and friends. In Loving Memory of Anna Kijak Richman God saw she was getting tired And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her And whispered,"Come with Me." A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. We love and miss you and will cherish all the memories we had together. Sanchez -- Steven Mark Sanchez, 52, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was called home by the Lord on May 21, 1999. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Sanchez; and sister-in-law, Vangie Gilliam-Romero in 1998. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Stephanie, and Jessica and her fiancee, Jimmy Garcia; one special grandson, Zebadiah Steven (his little sidekick); his mother, Epifania Torres; step-mother, Sarah Sanchez; and a very special aunt, Susie Sanchez; his brothers, Frank and wife, Cruzita, Levi and wife, Cathy, Ernest and wife, Josie, Albert and wife, Bianca, Fred and wife, Lenore, and Eddie and wife, Cathy; three Godsons, Brian Sanchez, Tommy Sanchez, and Brian Oberlander; his mother- and father-in-law, George and Andrea Gilliam; sisters- and brothers-in-law; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends. Steven was a retired ironworker from Local Union 495 and enjoyed ironwork, hunting and spending time at his cabin in Chilili, NM. His pride and joy, however, came from being a grandpa"papa" and all they learned from each other in the five years they shared. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Sophie Gurule reciting. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Tennessee, at Lomas Blvd., with Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant.
