Danella -- Ralph A. Danella, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, passed away on Monday, May 24, 1999. Ralph was born August 26, 1923, the son of Donato and Theresa Lucadamo Danella in Brooklyn, New York. He had been a garment cutter for many years and then a security guard for First Security before retiring. Ralph had been a past member of the Board of Directors of the Italian American Association of Rio Rancho and an active member of the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife. Ralph is survived by three daughters, Dana Vero and husband, Vic of Scottsdale, AZ, Joann Danella and Peter Alden of Rio Rancho, and Julieanne Welch of Estancia, NM; two sisters, Dolly Dragotta of Henderson, NV and RoseMary Stefan of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Christina Hobson and husband, Seth of Oceanside, CA, Amy Lynn Vero of Tucson, AZ, Michael Anthony Vero of Tucson, AZ, and Anthony Scott Alden of Rio Rancho; great-niece and nephew, Justin Welch-Danella and Lashley Welch of Estancia, NM; and devoted companion, Marjorie DeCandia of Albuquerque. A memorial service will be held tomorrow, Thursday, May 27, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Peter Denlea officiating. Goar -- Ina Mae Goar, age 94, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. She moved to Estancia Valley in 1935, retiring in Gallup before moving to Albuquerque in 1968. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; three brothers; two sisters; and a grandson. She is survived by daughter, Ouita Shockey and husband, Jim of Alamogordo, NM; sons, L.J. Goar and wife, Sally of Albuquerque, Paul Goar and wife, Phyllis of Bosque Farms, Jack Goar and wife, Cammie of Kingman, AZ; two sisters, Roberta Alexander of Woodard, OK and Lela Peoples of Huntsville, AL. She will lie in state Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, with Mr. John Wegter officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Jamie Shockey, Kenneth Shockey, Zachery Goar, Daniel Goar, Jason Goar and Dustin Chavez serving as casket bearers.

Hartline -- Elizabeth"Betty" Hartline, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died on Tuesday, May 25, 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Hartline Pettis and husband, Jeffrey; son, Dave Hartline and wife, Annette, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Michelle Williams and husband, Tom, Cateline Brow and husband, Paul, Matthew Hartline, Judith Anne Hartline, and Kyle Hartline; great-grandchildren, Thomas Jeffrey Williams, Emma Taylor Williams, Faith Ann Williams, and Ann Michelle Brow; sisters, Dorothy Dawson and Georgie Kupfer and husband, Robert. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hartline on April 11, 1998. She was especially fond of the many hours she spent as a volunteer at St. Joseph Northeast Heights Hospital. She fought the unrelenting attack of Multiple Sclerosis for 46 years with grace and dignity. She is finally free of the chair that held her body, but could never hold her spirit. Goodbye and Godspeed, Mama. We love you. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Friday, May 28, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. James T. Massey officiating. King -- 1911-1999 Bert Q. King, 87, a resident of Belen, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 1999. He was preceded in death by three sons, Brad King, Robin King, and Kim King. He is survived by his loving wife, Tillie C. King; one daughter, Suzanne Amestoy of Belen; seven sons, Donald King of Belen, Delbert King of Philadelphia, PA, Richard King of Albuquerque, Edward King of Belen, Tim King of Santa Clara, UT, Todd King of Belen, and Russell Montoya of Albuquerque; two brothers, Horace King of Belen and Wallace King of Mesa, AZ; 40 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. King will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. with services to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Los Lunas on Wednesday, May 26, 1999. Lepp -- Robert E. Lepp, 72, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 1999. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bette Ann; two daughters, Roberta Susan (Bobbi) Carrillo and her husband, Ben of Edgewood and Kathleen Adell Risley and her husband, Scott of Cedar Crest, NM; four grandchildren, David Robert (Rob) Puckett, Jennifer Susan Risley, Kelsey Karlyn Carrillo and Katie Kileen Carrillo; sister, Margaret Funderburg; brother, Richard Lepp of Albuquerque; nephew, David Funderburg and wife, Mary; niece, Nancy and Bob Anderson of Maryland; great-nephews, David Anderson and John Funderburg; great-niece, Lisa Wood; and great-great-nephew, Cody Wood. Mr. Lepp was a Navy Veteran of WWII, having proudly served in the Pacific in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He retired from the Defense Nuclear Agency at Sandia Base after 35 years of service. He was a longtime member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder, served on the Session, and worked in many other capacities. He was a longtime member of the Albuquerque Elks Lodge #461, and American Legion Post #49. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, bowling, coin and stamp collecting, as well as being a shadetree mechanic. He enjoyed his cabin near Cuba, NM, which he built with his son-in-law, Scott. He particularly enjoyed spending time with and doing things for his family. Services will be held Thursday, May 27, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper Ave. NE, the presiding Pastors will be Rev. Kathi M. Hunter and Rev. Leroy Elmore. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 2:30 p.m., with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #49. Pallbearers will be John Whiteman, George Le Bow, Rob Puckett, David Funderburg, Jim Culberson and Andy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Morris, Pat Morris, Bill Morris, Walter Norris, Mahlon Love, George Svetcoff and Bill Gorton. Mccleskey -- Bernard"Mac" C. McCleskey, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma McCleskey of Albuquerque; son, Wayne C. McCleskey of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Sandra A. Burk and husband, Dean of Washougal, WA; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Josie McKinley of T or C; brother, Alton McCleskey and wife, Loyce of Los Lunas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. McCleskey was preceded in death by his son, Preston McCleskey; grandson, Lynn McCleskey; and brother, Melborne McCleskey. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Mr. McCleskey was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Memorial services will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with Deacon Rene Greivel reciting. Mooney -- Anna"Jane" Mooney, 99, a resident of Albuquerque for 75 years, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. She is survived by her son, John Barrow and wife, Betty of Holbrook, AZ; grandson, Leonard Barrow and wife, Karen of Sedona, AZ; granddaughter, Barbara Busick and husband, Ron of Peoria, AZ; great-granddaughter, Katy Bippus and husband, Brad of Flagstaff, AZ; great-grandsons, Steven Barrow of Flagstaff, AZ and Robert Busick of Peoria, AZ; sister, Jewell Bryan of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Mooney. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. O'malley -- James E. O'Malley passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, May 22, 1999. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Christine; daughter, Caryn; sons, Martin, John and Brian, all of Albuquerque; and son, Michael of Taos. Other family members include daughters-in-law, Linda, Karen and Michaela O'Malley of Albuquerque, Sarah Adams of Taos; and son-in-law, Ted Barre of Albuquerque. James was also blessed with seven loving grandchildren, Colin and Lieutenant Derek O'Malley, Kenneth O'Malley, Ryan and Sean Barre, and Shane and Erin O'Malley. Following 20 years of dedicated service, James retired as a decorated Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army. He brought his family to Albuquerque in 1962 where he became coordinator of the"Executive Association of Greater Albuquerque", until his retirement in June of 1981. James and Christine loved traveling together, making several trips to Europe, South America, Hawaii and Canada. James was a devoted husband and family man with a deep Catholic faith and a longstanding member of John XXIII Catholic Parish. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Perea -- Manuel R. Perea, 69, a resident of Edgewood for nine years, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 1999 in Albuquerque. Mr. Perea was born October 10, 1929 to Aldolfo and Mena (Carrillo) Perea in Bernalillo. He married Mary J. Chavez, June 23, 1951 in Bernalillo. Manuel was a Veteran of the Korean War and received a Purple Heart when he was injured, he also was member of The State Council of Boy Scouts. Manuel was a volunteer at the V.A. Hospital and a member of the American Legion Post 401 and a member of The Chosen Few. Mr. Perea was also a member of the Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Edgewood. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary J. Perea; his sons and daughters-in-law, Manuel Jr. and Rosemary Perea, Adolfo Sonny and Rosemarie Perea, John Fitzgerald Perea and Michael Paul and Diana Perea; four daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine Perea, Elizabeth Ann and Jim Salas, Sandra Marie and David Sisneros, and Priscilla Jean Perea; one brother and sister-in-law, William T. and Esmeralda Perea; one sister, Romona Perea; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 26, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Edgewood. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 27, 1999, 10:00 a.m., with Father Tony Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juanito Castillo, Fabian Salas, Nicholas Perea, Jeoy Salas, Andrew Salas, and John Perea Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Maria Castillo and Mielissa Salas. Self -- After a 13 year courageous battle with cancer, Leslie S. Self, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, passed away Monday, May 24, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Randy S. Self of Albuquerque; daughter, Jennifer Wilkerson, M.D. and husband, Donnie of Dallas, TX; daughters by marriage, Lisa Bradley and fiance, Steven Ortega and Julie Barr and husband, Andrew, all of Albuquerque; grandson, Tyler Wilkerson of Dallas, TX; mother, Loraine L. Sweeney of Albuquerque; sisters, Gail Walker and husband, Jim of Albuquerque and Terry Sweeney of Pennsylvania. Leslie was preceded in death by her father, George A. Sweeney. She was a great fan and supporter of Lobo Athletics. Leslie was responsible for the Leslie S. Self Inspirational Award, which is presented to a female athlete each year. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, San Marcial #34. Leslie attended St. Paul Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, with Paster Larry A. Wright and Pastor Melinda J.
