WEBB, CAROLYN ROSE born on February 23, 1939 and passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Carolyn (A.K.A. Grandma) was born in the small town of Mountain View, Oklahoma. There she grew up on a farm with her parents and two brothers. When she was still just a child, they up and moved to Arizona and then onto New Mexico where she attended Valley High School and met a stunning airman in a uniform (and what girl doesn't love a man in uniform?). They were married a few years later and had three children. They were military globetrotters; moving from the United States, to Japan and to Hawaii. While she loved the beach, she ended up settling back in New Mexico with her three children to begin a new adventure on her own. Along with being a full-time mother, she worked in a dental office and also raised two of her many grandchildren. She is survived by so many people that loved her; we cannot name them all, but we know that every person who crossed her path loved her and will remember her fondly. Especially Bob White, an amazing man who magically appeared in her life to show her true compassion, unconditional love and who made these past few months some of the best in her life. Although she is gone, we know that she has her toes in the water, "blank" in the sand with an ice-cold shot of Patron in her hand. A viewing will be held at Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM. on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. A private family graveside ceremony will be held at Sunset Memorial Park , 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00am. A reception will be held at the home of Ira and Shauna Kusnetz, 14 Bachelor Trail, Edgewood, NM. at 12:30pm. All are welcome to come and join us for a game of Dominos, a few good stories and long lasting memories. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to The American Diabetes Association, 2625 Pennsylvania St. NE. ABQ. NM 87110. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ., 505-343-8008.
