Cromer -- Marjorie Ann Cromer died January 21, 2001 after a long illness. She had been a resident of Albuquerque for the last ten years. Prior to that she had lived in Los Alamos since 1952. She had an MS in botany from the University of Wisconsin but devoted her life to raising her five children. In Los Alamos, she was active in the League of Women voters, having been president two times. She was a den mother in cub scouts and for several years a girl scout leader. She was an active gardener, hiker and most of all a devoted bird watcher. She is survived by her husband, Don; and her five children, Roy of Grand Junction, CO, Tom of Huntsville, AL, and Donna, Phillip and Anna Sommariva, all of the Albuquerque area. Marjorie is also survived by Roy's wife, Colleen and their daughter, Kate; Tom's wife, Chris; Phillip's wife, Ellen, and their daughters Lindsey and Rachel; and Anne's husband, Bruno Sommariva, and their son, Nicholas. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Wagner. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles and Ray. Interment of Marjorie's ashes will be at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, NM, on Thursday, January 25, 2001 with family members only. At 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, friends may meet the family at the home of Lois and Tom Godfrey, 156 Tunyo, Los Alamos, NM. French -- Ruby French, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years, died Friday, January 19, 2001. She is survived by two sons, James Leslie French of Lithia Springs, GA, and Jerry French and wife, Ann of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jeanne Gonzales and husband, Greg of Albuquerque, Ron Foster and wife, Donna of Meridian, ID, Janet Rivera and husband, Gil of Albuquerque, Janice Prager and husband, Doug, of Germany, Chris French of Rio Rancho, Eileen McIlwain of Tampa, Fl; great-grandchildren, Stephen and Robbie Rivera, Jenny, Joshua and Daniel Prager, Kevin, Christopher and Cameron Foster, Sara and Clayton Gonzales and Jenny and Bobby McIlwain; sisters, Helen Wilson of North Platte, NE, Peggy Myers and husband, Jim of Overland Park, KS, Anna Grace Cox of Kansas and Mary Greene of Shawnee Mission, KS; brother, Russell Case and wife, Lois of Shawnee, KS; and sister-in-law, Ruby Case of Moberly, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jim C. French; parents, Les and Carrie Case of Sedalia, MO; and brother, Wilbur Case of Moberly, MO. She was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. Services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor J. Curtis Goldman officiating. Isenberg -- Donald E. Isenberg, age 70, a resident of Lafayette, IN died Saturday, January 13, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Isenberg is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lucretia Isenberg; one daughter, LaLa Proffit; son-in-law, Charles"Chuck" Proffit of Lafayette; one sister, Margorie Rose of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Isenberg attended Butler University in Indianapolis, IN and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion. He was employed at Purdue University in their Physical Plant for 22 years. He then worked in the Purdue Mail Department for eight years before his retirement. He enjoyed watching all Purdue Boilermaker sports, rooting for the Chicago Cubs and was an avid bowler. Mr. Isenberg will be given a Military Funeral, Wednesday, January 17, 2001 in Lafayette, and will be interred at Memorial Gardens, Veterans Section, West Lafayette, IN. He was a kind and loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be missed.

Morris -- William Morris, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Friday, January 19, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Morris, whom he married August 17, 1932 in Miami, OK; five nephews, and seven nieces. He was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Before moving to Albuquerque, he was an Oklahoma rancher on Grand Lake in Delaware County, OK. Later he was a local businessman. He was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church and the"Loyal" Sunday School Class. Services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE with Pastor Larry Miller officiating. Entombment will take place at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until the service. Schnoebelen -- Marilyn J."Mari" Schnoebelen, 70, an Albuquerque resident since November 1966, died Saturday, January 13, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Albert V. Schnoebelen of Albuquerque; daughters, Deborah M. Geib and husband, Mike of La Crescent, MN, Pamela M. Bollin and husband, Steve of Rio Rancho, NM, Nancy M. Verzin and husband, Joe of Paso Robles, CA; and JoAnne M. Howell and husband, James of Albuquerque; son, Timothy B. Schnoebelen of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kyle, Michael and Bradley Bollin, all of Rio Rancho, Rachel, Jacob and Ashley Howell, all of Albuquerque, Claire and Elizabeth Verzin, both of Paso Robles, CA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark Wright and wife, Tandra of Arvada, CO, Wanda Wright of Sunnyvale, CA, Carol Pauls of Newton Square, PA, Bernard Schnoebelen and wife, Bertha of Daisetta, TX, Dorothy Sullens of Yucca Valley, CA, Elaine Nelsen of Turtle Lake, WI, C.R. Snipes -- Frank Douglas Snipes, 56, a longtime Albuquerque resident, died Thursday, January 18, 2001 at his home. Doug was born October 3, 1944 in Fort Sumner to the home of Albert Snipes and the former Bonnie Louise Simmons. He was reared and attended schools in Albuquerque. Doug worked for many years at Firestone Tires in Albuquerque. He also owned and operated La Mesa Inn for several years. Doug was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a son, Todd Snipes; a daughter, Tammy Forgey, both of Albuquerque; his former wife, Carolyn Snipes of Albuquerque; three brothers, Jim Snipes of Lovington, NM, Burton Snipes of Tijeras, Clinton Snipes of Albuquerque; a sister, Ardis Blanchard of Riverside, CA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 from the Hassell Community Church, Hassell, New Mexico with Rev. Sherman Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Hassell Community Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services. The family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society. Trujillo -- Cipriano (Pano) Trujillo, 75, beloved and devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and brother was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 16, 2001. Mr. Trujillo was a resident of Ponderosa, NM; he was preceded in death by his parents, and seven brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Eva Trujillo of the family home; his children, Rita Hoogerhuis of Bernalillo, Steve Trujillo and wife, Barbara of San Ysidro, NM, Sally Pacheco and husband, Alfred of Albuquerque, Evelyn Martinez and husband, Richard of Espanola, NM, Judy Gachupin and husband, Arnold of Albuquerque, Marcelino Trujillo of Washington, Rosalia Serna of California; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Epifania Gallegos and Maria Sedillo. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and those who knew and loved him. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Santo Toribio Catholic Church, in Ponderosa, NM. Internment will follow at the Ponderosa Cemetery. Altomari -- Allan John Altomari, 81, of Corrales, NM, passed away on January 19, 2001 following a valiant fight of many years with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Glenden Altomari; daughters, Antoinette and her husband, David Brown of Seattle, WA, Allana and her husband, Charles Keeler of Los Angeles, CA; three stepchildren, Andy and Kathy O'Neal of Corrales, NM, Dr. and Mrs. Larry Mason of Indianapolis, IN, and Becky O'Neal of Bloomington, IL; one sister; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1989, Mr. Altomari worked with the production of rocket engines for the space program at Rocketdyne, a subsidiary of Rockwell International. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. For many years he was a volunteer at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. Funeral services will be private and cremation has taken place. The cremated remains will be scattered over the Pacific Ocean, close to his place of birth. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that all remembrances be sent to the Foundation of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, 1801 Mountain Road, ABQ, NM 87104.

Arellanes -- Nora"Granny" Arellanes passed away January 18, 2001 at her home in Mc Intosh, NM. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and loved everybody. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bessie Frampton; and is survived by six sons, Bonifacio Lovato, Freddie Gonzales, Arthur Mahboub, Johnny Arellanes, Mike Segura, and Eric Segura; five daughters, Diana Hernandez, Lorraine Ruelas, Pat Lovato, Jessie Roybal, and Frances Arellanes; 36 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, with a viewing beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2001, and the rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2001, with burial following at Moriarty City Cemetery. Barnett -- Barclay K. Barnett,"Barc", born May 20, 1924 an Albuquerque resident since 1954 died January 11, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Carol Barnett; a son, Luke Barnett and wife, Pam of Albuquerque; a daughter, Lee Malone and husband, Colonel Tim Malone of the U.S. Air Force currently serving in Germany; and grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Malone. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews. Barc attended Oregon State University, Notre Dame University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Through his ownership of Barnett and Co. he was a manufactures representative for commercial heating and cooling systems. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy and concluded his tour of duty as a submarine crewman. Barc was a compassionate and gentle man who never said an unkind word about anyone. He was a caring and generous father and husband and he will be deeply missed by his family. He loved playing golf, racket ball, skiing and working out at the Sports and Wellness Mid Town.
