Baca -- David T. Baca, 72, was called home to be with the Lord, Monday June, 25, 2001. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Lieselotte (Lilly) Gertrude Baca. He is survived by his loving children, Alfred Baca, Lorenzo Baca and wife, Lucille and Rosemarie Baca; grandchildren, Shanice, Lisa, and Lilly; bothers and sisters, Sally Jiron, Bobby Baca, Gil Baca, Katy Romero, and Michael Baca; and brother-in-law, Bill Chavez; and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held Thursday June 28, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the 8th street chapel of Garcia Mortuary where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. also in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday June 29, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Greg Jiron, Rudy Jiron, Ronnie Baca, Ray Romero, Allen Chavez, and Arthur Baca. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky, Robert, Richard, and Lawrence. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., SW 243-5222.

Orozco -- Mr. David A. Orozco, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home on June 26 , 2001 and is now in heaven with our Lord. Mr. Orozco, is the beloved husband to Louise Orozco and her son, Bobby Chavez; four daughters, Germaine Otero and husband, Jerry, Monica Orozco-Duran, Stephanie Abeyta and Dezi, Michele Ortega and Paul; two sons, Domonic Orozco and wife, Tina and Pasqual Orozco and wife, Judith; four sisters, Rosemary Dennis and husband, Robert, Grace Gurule, Stella Murphy and husband, John and Patsy Felix; very blessed to have 21 1/2 grandchildren, Domonic, Kristin, Melissa, Justine, Christopher, Nathan, Jude, Brittany, Nicholas, Manuel, Cera, Santana, Cheyenne, Dezi, Anthony , David, Nico, Marissa, Paul, Cody and Zane; his first great grandson, Rudy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by eldest son, Rudy R. Orozco. He was a member of the Catholic Church, Teamster-Local 492, was involved in the North Valley Little League. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m., Gabriella Nieto, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Ramon Aragon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Domonic Orozco, Pasqual Orozco, Jerry Otero, Paul Ortega, Dezi Abeyta and Bobby Chavez. Padilla -- Mrs. Pablita (Mama) Padilla, 87, born April 3, 1914 in Albuquerque, N.M. in the community of Los Padillas, died in her sleep peacefully with her family at her side. Pablita retired in 1968 from A.P.S. after working many years at Rio Grande High School. Pablita is survived by two daughters, Fedelina and husband, Fred Chavez and Lita and husband, Jake Torres; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Eva Padilla, Penny Padilla, Ruth Padilla and Margaret Lucero; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Padilla; her parents, Perfecto and Gabriella Padilla; brothers, Elefigo, Polidar, Leandro, "Tito" Herminio and "Lollie" Padilla; a sister, Emilia Padilla; infant daughter, Rosemary Padilla; granddaughter, Janet Torres; great-great-granddaughter, Adrianna Benavidez and a grandson, Juan Alderete. Mrs. Padilla was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Alter Society and was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-geat-grandmother. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Church of The Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. The Legion of Mary reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Church of The Ascension with final visitation at the church after 9:30 p.m. Father Edmund Savilla, Celebrant of the Mass. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Rivera -- Alfredo Luciano Rivera, age 49, died June 26, 2001 in Santa Rosa as a result of a motor vehicle accident while delivering a truck load of cement. Alfredo was born March 10, 1952 in Santa Rosa, NM to the home of Max G. and Dora Moreno Rivera. He was reared in Santa Rosa and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1970. He married Yolanda Barela on October 16, 1971 in Fort Sumner, NM. Alfredo was working for his brother, Robert Rivera as Plant Manager for RER Redi Mix in Santa Rosa. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 5146. Alfredo loved ranching and feeding cattle with his father, Max and enjoyed playing with his grandson, Diego. Alfredo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend and will truly be missed by all. Survivors include his wife, Yolanda Rivera of the family home in Santa Rosa; his son, Joaquin Rivera and wife, Paulette of Tijeras; his daughter, Maxine Rivera of Santa Rosa; grandson, Diego Rivera of Santa Rosa; parents, Max and Dora Rivera of Santa Rosa; brothers, Max Rivera and wife, Patricia of Albuquerque, Robert Rivera and wife, Ida of Santa Rosa; and sister, Cathy Apodaca and husband, Anthony of Los Lunas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Transita Santillanes and husband, Mike of Denver, CO, Abran Barela of Yokum, WA, Isabel Lopez of Albuquerque, Lucy Rael of Albuquerque, Connie Campos and husband, Jerry of Santa Rosa and Bridget Anaya of Tucumcari. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers and a host of friends. Rosary Services will be conducted on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. also from St. Rose Church with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Tito Vigil, Tito Romero, Jerry Campos, Andrew Sanchez, Pete Cordova, Mike Santillanes, Sam Lopez, Matthew Barela and Max Velasquez. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfredo's coworkers from the Robert Rivera Construction Company. Pulliam -- Oma Racheal Pulliam died on June 23, 2001 in Rio Rancho, NM. She was born in 1913 in Corbin, KY and had lived in Truth or Consequences, NM where she worked as a nurse at St. Ann's Hospital before retiring and moving to Rio Rancho 15 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Pulliam in 1971; by a daughter, Willa Chavez in 1984; and by a son, Boyd Teague in 1990. She is survived by a daughter, Lois Lopez and husband, John of McIntosh, NM; and by six grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Private Family Services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Jimenez -- Arturo "Tudy" Jimenez, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, June 22, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annie Jimenez de Chavez of Albuquerque; sons, Marty Jimenez and wife, Kathy of Sterling, VA, Steve Jimenez and wife, Linda, of Albuquerque and Gabriel Jimenez of Albuquerque; daughters, Ronnie Mora and husband, David of Enfield, CT, Sandi Greene of Enfield, CT and Felicia Jimenez of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Monica, Marlo, Erika, Gabe and Nicklas; great grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Desi, Willy and Kyle; sister, Esther Collado and husband, Angel of Albquerque, NM; and 2 loving companions, Don King and Kitty Kitty. Art served in the Korean War and then went to work for Sandia Labs, retiring after 44 years. He was"Mr. Fix-It" for all that knew him. He was also an evening manager for the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge for 12 years.
