HARRISON -- Ernest Harrison died February 4, 2004 in Naples, FL. born January 14, 1929 in White Wright, TX, a graduate of Clovis High School and the University of New Mexico. Ernie served 30 years in the F.B.I. He had a second career as a banker in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Harrison; his daughter, Deborah Mande; grandchildren, Joe Mande, Rachel Mande; brother, Bill Harrison; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials preferred to the donor's charity of choice.

LEBOW -- Susan "Susie" Lebow, 65, a native of Albuquerque who lived here for most of her life, died Friday, February 6, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Lebow of Albuquerque; son, Jeffery Lebow and wife, Mercie of Santa Fe; daughters, Julie Ann Dollar and husband, Ray of The Woodlands, TX and Anita Marie D'Antonio and husband, Mike of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Brendan, Whitney, Tyler, Ashley and Kelsie; brothers, Phillip Villanueva and wife, Dodie, Billy Villanueva and wife, Myrtle, Edward Villanueva and wife, Anna and Vincent Villanueva and wife, Benita; sister, Martha Russell; sisters-in-law, Lydia Villanueva and Margaret Villanueva; devoted friend, Angie Green; and numerous extended family members and friends. Susie attended Sacred Heart and St. Mary's Catholic Schools. She married John in May of 1961. He was in the Army and Susie faithfully traveled by his side to each assignment, until his retirement. Susie, as many knew, had a big heart and would have done anything to help her friends and family. She doted on her grandchildren who were extremely close to her. Susie will be missed tremendously by her family and friends. Memorial rosary will be recited Sunday, February 8, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 9, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. LUBERT -- Adeline Mary Lubert, 85, went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2004. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 2, 1918. She moved the family to Albuquerque in June of 1967. She was currently a resident at Albuquerque Manor. Our mother was a Harvey Girl at the Old Indian Building at the Old Fred Harvey Alvarado Hotel downtown. Then she went to the gift shop of Fred Harvey at the Albuquerque Sunport. She was very active with the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 401. Adeline Lubert is survived by her two sons, William J. Lubert and H. MARTINEZ -- Richard (Dick) Williams Martinez, born June 12, 1937 in Burley, Idaho to Pedro Fillipe and Florence Vianna Justesen Martinez passed away peacefully at home February 1, 2004 with his loving wife of 47 years and children at his side, after a long and agonizing battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Reo, as he was known by his family and close friends was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pete Martinez, Jr.; and sister, Adella Pina. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Anderson Martinez; brother, Arthur Sheron of Ogden, Utah; sisters, Bertha Tehero of Ogden, Utah, Florence Whitaker of Far West, Utah, Patricia Bedford of Clinton, Utah; his sons, Vincent Reo Martinez and wife, Catherine of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mitchell Craig Martinez of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Jacqueline Martinez Holeman and husband, Dave of Poulsbo, Washington; nine grandchildren, Carmen, Richard, Vincent, Cameron, Carl, Peter, Joyce, Avalon, Jamie; one great-grandchild, Danny and two on the way. At the age of four Reo's parents moved the family to Ogden, Utah, where he grew up. In 1954 he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving aboard ammunition and supply ships during the Korean War. While home on leave he met and eventually married Joyce Anderson of South Ogden on January 30, 1957. Upon leaving the Navy in 1958 he moved back to Ogden, Utah where he began his career with the Department of Defense at Hill Air Force Base. While raising his family he attained bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Psychology. In 1969 he transferred to Southern California to manage contracts with North American Rockwell, Rocketdine and the government in development of the space shuttle. In 1975 he moved the family to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he worked as Contract Administrator for the Department of Defense at Kirtland Air Force Base. In 1982 Reo and Joyce moved to Bellevue, Washington, where he finished his career as Chief Administrative Officer in Materials Management for the Department of Defense in contracts with Boeing. He retired in 1988. His life long joy was children. From his own children to his nieces and nephews, from his grandchildren to the local neighborhood children where he lived Reo always surrounded himself with kids, entertaining and teaching all the time and enjoying every minute. Up until he was diagnosed with PSP it was his ambition to use his degrees counseling troubled youth. PSP is a rare degenerative brain disease that attacks the brain and causes slowing or inability to generate voluntary movement and axial rigidity. The most common characteristic or aspect of PSP is the inability to move the eyes, with the first symptoms being unsteadiness and falling. MCNABB -- Joanne "TJ" Wright-McNabb, 63, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Friday, February 6, 2004. She is survived by her husband G. Edward McNabb of Albuquerque; son Christopher Troy McNabb and wife Mary of Lewisville, TX; daughter Kimberly Suzanne Cashman and husband Lyle of Vernon, CT; grandchildren Joel and Timothy Cashman, Katherine, Miriah, Hannah and Rebekah McNabb; brothers, Harold Wright and wife Mary Lou of Strongsville, OH, and Rev. Paul Wright and wife Donna of Negley, OH; sister Janet Horton of Adena, OH; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ed and Violet McNabb of Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-law Dr. Greg McNabb of San Jose, CA; and sister-in-law Gloreen Alexander of Orrington, ME. Joanne was a pianist at Oasis Family Church and a longtime member of the New Mexico Quilters Association. MOLLENKOPF -- Shirlee Irene Mollenkopf, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Friday, February 6, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Marvin "Bill" Mollenkopf of Albuquerque; sons, William Howard Mollenkopf and wife Judy of Cortez, Colorado, Bruce Evan Mollenkopf and wife Debby, of Albuquerque; and grandsons Scott and wife Audrey and great-grandaughter, Morgan, Michael, and Adam and wife Nikki. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Jared. Mrs. Mollenkopf and her husband established Perfumes of the Desert in Old Town in 1948. Over the years they owned and managed Old Town Indian Trading Post and Old Town Perfume and Candle. She was also very active in Cub Scouting. Mrs. Mollenkopf loved fishing in Lake City, Colorado. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. MONTOYA -- Sarah T. Montoya (Gram) died Thursday evening, February 5, 2004 at her home in Albuquerque at the age of 85. She was born June 12, 1918 in North Carolina. She lived in Shelby, NC and later moved to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico. She went on to work for the IRS where she retired as a field auditor. Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Montoya. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Gutierrez and husband, Edward of Los Lunas; son, Richard P. Montoya and wife, Sarah of Albuquerque; sisters, Mary Sue Thompson and Jean Barber, both of North Carolina; grandchildren, Catalina and husband, Allen, Veronica and Mike, Kimberly and Aaron, Kristopher and wife, Fay; Kenneth and wife, Kristen, Kevin and wife, Tina, and Robert and wife, Cindy; great-grandchildren, AJ, Christopher, Jared, Sadira, John Paul, Zack, Cierra, Mandy, Marco, Melody, Keith and Kyle. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. PATTERSON -- Velma June Patterson died on February 3, 2004 at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born Velma June Anderson on April 7, 1939 in Gunnison, Colorado, she graduated from Salida High School in Salida, Colorado in 1957. Son Douglas Martellaro preceded her in death. Velma is survived by five children; Alan Martellaro of Carbondale, Colorado, Brent Martellaro of Fairbanks, Alaska, Cynthia Cooney of Missoula Montana, Evan Martellaro of Salida, Colorado, and Phillip Martellaro of Bozeman, Montana. She also has four grandchildren; Tara and Jason Martellaro of Carbondale, and Jesse and Jose of Fairbanks. For the past 15 years Velma worked for the US Department of Agriculture Rural Development, formerly FMHA, in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. She was loved by us all and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at Lewis and Glen Funeral Home in Salida Colorado on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. There will also be a memorial service in Albuquerque on Tuesday February 10, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at the Faith Chapel Church, 1726 Girard Blvd. NE.

PEACE -- Diana L. Peace, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2004, after an extended illness. Diana was born April 16, 1940 on Oskaloosa, Iowa. She was a faithful and loving health-care provider for many years. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Fern Redford; a sister, Mary Patrick; a brother, Ernest Redford, and a great grandson, Timmothy Stewart. She is survived by DeWayne Peace; five children, Donna Phillips and Stephen Birdwell of Oklahoma, Barbara Crain and Billy Brown of Albuquerque, Sharlene Murphy of Albuquerque, Ronald and Beverly Peace of Oklahoma, Elizabeth and Xuan Nguyen of Albuquerque; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 sisters; 1 brother and many nieces, nephews. She had many friends including one special friend Hal Smith. She was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by all. PEREA -- Joe. Mr. Joe H. Perea, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 7, 2004. Mr. Perea is survived by his wife, Erlinda; his children, Mary "Beatrice" Bozell and husband, Ken, Mary "Liz" Anaya and husband, Joe, "Larry" Joseph Perea, and Michelle Pino and son, Michael P. Pino; one sister, Linda Gutierrez and husband, Lowrey; two brothers, Robert Perea and wife, Susanna, and Pancho Perea; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Pino and wife, Sara, Kendell and Kellie Bozell, Flora Marie Perea, Ashley Perea and Daisey Baca; a special aunt, Juanita Anzures; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Perea was a member of the Catholic Church. He loved music, and loved to play the guitar as a member of Del and The Tempos. Services to be announced.
