HAMILTON -- E. F. (Gene) Hamilton, 93, passed away after a long illness. He was a native of Columbus Ohio and a resident of Rio Rancho for the last 6 1/2 years. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and captain of the Ohio State Baseball Team. He retired from the Columbus Bolt Works and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is survived by his sister, Rita C. Hamilton currently living in Rio Rancho; his daughter, Susan and husband, Gus Lopez of Albuquerque; his son, Dr. James Hamilton M.D. and wife, Janet of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren, Andy Lopez, Issac Lopez and wife, Kristi, and Felicia Lopez. He also has 6 great-grandchildren Issac Jr., Caleb, Courtney, Savannah and Monet Lopez of Albuquerque and Brittany Lopez of Dallas, TX; and nieces and nephews. Gene was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mary Etta Cann, his mother, Rose and father, Homer; his sisters, Bea, Mary, Dorothy, Betty, Geri and brother, Norbert. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. on Monday at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW with visitation from 4:00 p.m. until time of rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbus, Ohio. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. Mrs. Hightower, 97, died May 12, 2004. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Allene and Walter Kleweno of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews. INGRAM -- Hazel R. Ingram, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1997 and former resident of Tucumcari since 1932, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004. She is survived by her children, Evelyn Kay Ingram of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Elizabeth Morgan and husband, Roy of Albuquerque and H. David Ingram and wife, Laurie of Parker, CO; daughters-in-law, Barbara Ingram of Santa Fe and Ellen Ingram of Elizabeth, CO; grandchildren, Valerie Ingram and husband, Greg Pringle of Santa Fe, Lawrence Christopher Ingram and wife, Dina of Los Angeles, CA, Carolyn Ingram and husband, Daniel Jacobs of Santa Fe, Heather Ingram and husband, Donald Slack of Albuquerque, Laura Smith of Seattle, WA, Dean Ingram and wife, Lisa of Aurora, CO, Suzanne Roberts and husband, Michael of Westminster, CO and Virginia Jorgenson and husband, Ryan of Deep Gap, NC; and great-grandchildren, Lawrence Frederick, Joshua Nelson, Chandler Tevas, Amanda, Rebecca, Zachary, Ariana, Elyse and Hazel Autumn. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Ingram; and three sons, Lawrence B. Ingram, James Nelson Ingram and Robert Leslie Ingram. She owned and operated Crescent Creamery in Tucumcari with her husband for many years. Mrs. Ingram served on the Board of Directors of Citizen's Bank until 2002. Graveside services will be held Monday, 1:30 p.m., at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery, 4161 Quay Rd. 63, with H. David Ingram officiating. LEVITT -- Claire F. Levitt, 56, beloved wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, an Albuquerque Area Resident for 9 years died Friday, May 21, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Don Levitt of Rio Rancho; mother, Lucille Wheeler of Rio Rancho, daughter, Lisa Velarde of Albuquerque; 3 grandchildren, Adam, Shanon and Amanda; brother, Vincent Wheeler of New City, NY, 2 stepchildren, Shari Umrichin and husband, Paul of West Haverstraw, NY and Donald Levitt, Jr. of Spring Valley, NY; 3 step-grandchildren, Alyson, Ethan and Dannielle. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Wheeler. Claire was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She worked as a recruiter for ITT Tech Institute. MARQUEZ -- Robert J. Marquez, 47, went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2004. He was born on March 5, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Marquez is survived by his wife Juanita Marquez; sons, Robert Marquez, Richard Marquez and Ruben Marquez; daughter, Christina Marquez; brothers, Joe Marquez and wife Yita, Alfred Marquez and wife Lynne and Ruben Marquez and wife Lindy; sisters, Mary Montgomery and husband Cecil, Ida O'Neal and husband J.R., Lorine Lea, Linda Kozlowski and husband Johnny, Gloria Corcoran and husband Jim and Anita Ibarra and husband Rudy. Mr. Marquez will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitations were held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Funeral Services were held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Interment followed at the Vista Verde Cemetery, 4310 Sara Rd. S.E. in Rio Rancho, NM. MAYNEZ -- Ermelinda C. Maynez went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, May 21, 2004. She was born October 9, 1927 in Questa, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ignacio Maynez. A wonderful mother and friend, she is survived by 6 children and their spouses, including sons Dennis, Paul, Patrick, and Rocky and daughters, Ermie and Carol. She had 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held Thursday May 27, 2004, at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph's NW, Albuquerque, NM. A Rosary will begin at 1:30 P.M. followed by a Mass at 2:00. Her remains will be buried alongside her late husband at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX, where a grave-side service will be held on Friday at 2:30 PM. MOEGERLE -- James "Jim" B. Moegerle, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, May 20, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Moegerle; daughter, Donna Eidenmiller and husband, Ed; granddaughter, Dodi and husband Sam; two great grandsons, Jesse and Dakota. Jim was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Renee Eidenmiller in 2001. Jim was born and raised in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania where he worked in a steel mill. After retiring 20 years ago, he moved to Albuquerque. Jim enjoyed many things but was an avid sports fan. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held at a later date. MUNOS -- Frank Munos, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, was 75 yrs. old when he passed away in his home on Wednesday, May 19, 2004, as a result of a severe heart attack he suffered on May 1, 2004. Frank was born on September 3, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK, one of 10 brothers and sisters born to parents, Frank Sr. and Amallia Munos. Frank served in the Merchant Marines as a Junior Tug Boat Captain in Galveston, TX. He moved to Albuquerque in 1953 and went to work for Darwin Buick. In 1964, Frank and his brother Jess Munos started their own business, Munos Paint and Body, Inc. He was a respected and established business owner for 40 years. He resided in Albuquerque for 51 years. Frank is survived by his sons, Rick Munos of Albuquerque and Jess K. Munos and wife, Osa of Hood River, OR; daughters, Pamela Munos of Hood River, OR, and Lisa Munos of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren, Randy Johnson, Kathy Johnson, Lori Altman, Richard Munos, Jentry Munos, Jesse Munos, Chase Munos, Spencer Munos, Teal Munos, Michael Cody Santistevan, Haley Santistevan and Keith Garcia II; 4 great grandchildren, Brianna, Austin, Jarod, and Duke; brothers, Jess Munos and wife, Conna of Albuquerque, Daniel Munos and wife, Virginia of Denver, CO, Leon Munos and wife, Gloria of California; sisters, Theresa LaTerno, Lupe Munos, and Molly Munos all of California and Mary Akins and husband Dwight, of St. Louis, MO ; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Chris Munos, and his sisters, Emma DeCosta and Eileen Hernandez. Services will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2004, 3:30 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul N.E. with Deacon Faustin Archuleta officiating. Private Entombment will follow for the family only. PEMBROKE -- Louise R. Pembroke, 93, longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Oliver (Coach) L. Pembroke and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rickabaugh and brother, Phillip. Louise retired from teaching in Grants, Alamogordo and in Albuquerque at Washington Junior High, Valley and Highland High. Ollie and Louise enjoyed retirement with extensive traveling in Europe, Mexico, South America, China and Australia. Memorial services will be held on May 29, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle NE. The Reverend Christine Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Louise's name may be made to the First Unitarian Church Endowment Fund.
