Myers -- Mrs. Rhonda Lee Poulson Myers, 49, of Gastonia, died Tuesday, October 12, 1999, at Vencor Hospital, Greensboro. A native of Albuquerque, Mrs. Myers was the daughter of the late Alfred Ray Poulson and sister of the late Judy Dianne Sovereign. Mrs. Myers was a member of Monte Vista Christian Church in Albuquerque, was a former flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, she loved to travel, and was a member of the Gaston Association of Realtors. She was also President of the Gaston County Cancer Society in 1989 and founded"Make Today Count", a cancer patient support group. As a realtor for Black & Whisnat Properties, Mrs. Myers was the recipient of numerous awards, including several Outstanding Achievement Awards for being a multi-million dollar producer. Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband, Dean Myers of the home; her mother, Judith Poulson, Albuquerque; her son and daughter-in-law, Russell Lee and Kandy Myers, Gastonia; daughters, Kristin Anne Myers, Asheville, and Laura Elizabeth Myers, Gastonia; grandchildren, Lillian Dean and Kale Myers, Gastonia; brother and sister-in-law, Larry Ray and Charlotte Poulson, Newport Beach, CA; mother-in-law, Joanna Myers, Concord; brothers-in-law, Dirk Myers and Allan Sovereign; sister-in-law, Paula Myers; nieces and nephews, Michael, Scott, and Sheri Sovereign, Denise Culp and Allison Mason; great-nieces and nephews, Miranda, Kaleb, Tommy, Jessica, Briana, and Alan Sovereign. A Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, 1999, at Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors, Gastonia, with Reverend H.L. Talbert officiating. Visitation will be tonight (Thursday), from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gaston County Cancer Society, 220 E. Osborne -- Adrienne C. Hulette Osborne died peacefully in her sleep at home in Albuquerque on October 11, 1999 after a long illness. Adrienne is survived by her mother, Jean F. Hulette of White Rock, NM; her husband of 27 years, Fredric; son, Curtis of Denver, CO; Aarco, wife, Jennifer; grandson, Kyle; and granddaughter, Cheyenne of Albuquerque; sisters, Catherine Greenwood of Kaneo, HI and Cynthia Pallas of Melborne, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom loved her very much and know she is now with the Lord. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., October 14, 1999, at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Larry Moss presiding.

Kotur -- Melvin M. Kotur, 82, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 16 years, passed away on Monday, October 11, 1999. Melvin was born December 26, 1916, the son of Rade and Milka Yaich Kotur in Steubenville, Ohio. He had worked for Wheeling Pittsburg Steel Co. for 37 years before retiring. He was a proud member of local union 1190, where he was active in various committees. His leadership lead to the establishment of a scholarship program between the University of Steubenville and local 1190. He served in the US Army during WWII. Melvin was preceded in death by one brother, George Kotur and one sister, Mary Wise. He was a beloved and devoted husband to his wife of 58 years, Hilda of Rio Rancho; six children, Judy Criss and husband, Bill of Yorba Linda, CA, Joan Baker and husband, Richard of Alamo, CA, Melvin Kotur and wife, Kim of Bozeman, MT, Jim Kotur and wife, Peggy of Columbia Falls, MT, Tom Kotur and wife, Diane of Steubenville, OH, and Robert Kotur and Shari Duncan of Foster City, CA; two brothers, Milan Kotur of Toronto, OH, Larry Kotur of Weirton, WV, Diana Kozak of Steubenville, OH, and Martha Milewsky of Toronto, OH; and he was especially proud of his 12 grandchildren. The Rosary for Melvin will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 1999, with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Msgr. Douglas Raun as Celebrant. Burial service will be held in Steubenville, Ohio on October 30, 1999. Olbert -- Muriel Everett Olbert"Our Ruie", 91, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 199. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Bland and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kathryn Shull, Jim Shull and wife, Christen, all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lauren and Austin; brother, Mark Everett; sisters-in-law, Serena, Eileen and Lucille; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard in 1958; parents, Claude and Lillie Everett; twin sister, Perle; sisters, Edna and Doris; brothers, Estel, Walter, Roy and Clarence. Muriel was born in Mancos, CO on January 2, 1908, to Claude and Lillie Everett, a pioneer cattle ranching family. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in education. Mrs. Olbert taught at Mrs. Trudell's Private School, in the Huning Castle, and tutored many students in her home. She retired from the City of Albuquerque, and also retired from Dillards Department Store at the age of 81. Muriel was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She was a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star and a member of Lew Wallace Chapter D.A.R. She was loved by all who knew her. She generously gave of her self to her family and friends. She was so lovingly cared for by everyone, especially by Nancy McAllister at her home and Helen and Rhonda at Vista del Rio Assisted Living Community. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, with Rev. Melinda Wagner and Rev. Larry A. Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be David Everett, Larry Everett, Lloyd Everett, Randy Everett, Don Morris and Robert Morris. Olds -- Albert (Al) C. Olds, 75, formerly of East Molina, Illinois, died Friday, October 1, 1999, at his home in Albuquerque. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, at Bethel Baptist Church, Port Byron, IL. Al was born May 22, 1924 in Fulton, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Nellie Jenkins Olds. He married Peggy Townsend in 1985. He retired from International Harvester, East Moline after 30 years. He went on to own and operate his farm in Pomona, Missouri, prior to settling in Albuquerque. His interests and accomplishments included building and remodeling homes, barbershop singing, hunting, fishing and traveling. He was also a licensed instrument flight instructor pilot. Survivors include his wife; his son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Judy Olds, East Moline; daughter, Nancy Olds, Moline; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Larry Curry, De Soto, TX; and sister, Carol Carlson, Corvallis, OR.

Robertson -- Dr. Roy R. Robertson, 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, died Sunday, October 3, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Berdella Mellum Robertson of the family home; son, John Robertson of Santa Fe; daughter, Selma Robertson of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Barbie Robertson of Santa Fe; and brother, Robert Schultz and wife, Carlene of Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Robertson was a graduate of the University of North Dakota in 1928, and North Western University School of Medicine in 1931. He married Berdella Mellum in 1931. Dr. Robertson had a private practice in Albuquerque from 1940 to 1977. He was the Clinical Instructor in Medicine at UNM School of Medicine from it's organization until 1968. Dr. Robertson was the President of Bernalillo County Medical Association in 1946. He was a member of the State Medical Society and the American Medical Association. For many years, he was the chairman of Health and Safety Committee for the Boy Scouts of America. He was active in the Watercolor Society, Genealogy Club, and the Scandinavian Club. Services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, with Pastor Larry A. Wright and Pastor Melinda J. Wagner officiating. Sluga -- Joseph L. Sluga, 87, born in Sugarite, NM, and a resident of Albuquerque for 51 years, died Monday, October 4, 1999. He is survived by his sons, Donald L. Sluga and wife, Carolyn of Windsor, CO and Harold Sluga and wife, Kay of Espanola; brother, Frank Sluga of California; sister, Mary McKnight of Roswell; grandchildren, Shane Sluga and wife, Gena of Phoenix, AZ, Ronney Sluga and wife, Karen of Rio Rancho, and Tambra Nash and husband, John of Albuquerque; and great-grandchildren, Megan Sluga, Allison Sluga, Jeff Nash, and John Nash. Mr. Sluga was very knowledgable about northern New Mexico history and Indian Arts. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Cimmaron, NM Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge in Albuquerque, and a 75 year member of the S.N.P.J.
