PERALTA -- John Peralta, passed away on November 27, 2004, at age 75, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Capitan, New Mexico on October 20, 1929. He lived in Albuquerque for over 50 years and retired as a truck driver. His mom, dad, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Petra Peralta, his children Mary Ann and husband David Torrez, Johnny Peralta, James and wife Eileen Peralta, Sammy Peralta, Cassandra and husband James Piar. He also has four surviving sisters Natividad Heberling, Helen Quintana, Dora Chavez and Geno Purcella. John has seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held at 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 with mass to follow immediately after Rosary. Burial will take place at Mt. GONZALES -- Eloy "Loy" S. Gonzales went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2004 at the age of 84. He was born on December 1, 1919 in Indian Wells, California. He is survived by his niece, Josie Ulibarri and husband, Joe; nephews, Pablo Price and Robert Price and wife, Grace; grand-nieces and -nephews, Debbi Oldham, Wendy Ulibarri, Diana Price, Alberta Price, Dennis Price, Vincent Price, and Monica Price; and his great-grand-nieces and -nephews, Brandi Lueras, Erica Chavez, and Amerissa Brian. Eloy will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Price, Vincent Price, Monica Prica, Debbi Oldham, Wendy Ulibarri, and Diana Price. GURULE -- Barbarita Gurule was born May 27, 1918 in Bosque, NM. She went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 23, 2004 after a short illness. Barbarita was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by all six of her brothers and sisters and by her son, Raymond. Barbarita is survived by her dedicated husband of 57 years, Damacio; her loving son, Leroy and wife, Anna; daughter, Mary Ann Chavez and husband, Lenave; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbarita was a friend to all, having never met a stranger. A wonderful woman of God, who never hesitated to tell others how good God was. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we know she is resting in the Arms of her Lord. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Kaseman Hospice inpatient unit. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Valencia Valley Church of the Nazarene, 33 El Cerro Loop, in Los Lunas, on Saturday, November 27, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at on Monday, November 29, 2004 at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen. HERRERA -- Irene G. Herrera, 84, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2004, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Rose Trujillo and husband, Mike E., Mary Jackson and husband, Andrew, Miguel Herrera and wife, Dana, all of Albuquerque, Ida May Herrera and Jimmy Joe Baca of Bosque Farms, Betty Toledo and husband, James, Dinah Herrera and husband, Leonard Chavez of Los Lunas and Harold Herrera; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Gutierrez, Cecilia Gutierrez and Bennie Trujillo; and brothers, Natividad Griego and Tony E. Griego and wife, Lucy. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Flavio Herrera on July 3, 2004; two sons, Jose Antonio and Flavio Robert Herrera; three sisters and two brothers. She was a very loving person, towards her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited on Friday, 7:00 p.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter NE. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Valley Cemetery in Barton, NM. Pallbearers will be Albert Pacheco, Issac Toledo, Fermin Trujillo, Manuel Trujillo, Robbie Trujillo and Neil Overbay. OTERO -- Alice C. Mrs. Alice C. Otero, 85, born May 16, 1919 and a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. She went to walk on the streets of gold with our Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2004 after a long illness. She was born in Endee, N.M. and resided in Tucumcari until 1951, she then moved to Los Angeles, California until she retired from Zerox in 1981. Mrs. Otero then moved to Albuquerque and has been a resident since then. Mrs. Otero is survived by her loving children, Joan Teran and husband, Mario, Richard Otero, Patricia ( Patsy ) Gutierrez and husband, Bernie and Ruben Bustamante; four sisters, Delfina Falcon, Irene Chavez, Mary Lou Sanchez and husband, Juan, Georgia Sanchez and husband, Robert; two brothers, Enrique Cordova and wife, Julia, Albert Anaya and wife, Leona; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Otero was a member of the Catholic Church and Los Volcanes Senior Citizens Center. A visitation for Mrs. Otero will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt.
