Gilbert -- Helen A. Gilbert, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died October 2, 2001. She is survived by her sister, Lynn Dever; her daughter, Karen McCole and husband, Dave Childs; four grandchildren, Gilbert McCole and his wife, Sylvia, Timothy McCole and his wife, Valerie, Helen McCole, Christopher McCole; her three great-grandchildren, Andrew McCole and Jennifer McCole, Kevin Miglio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Gilbert. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2001 at Fitzgerald & Son, 3113 Carlisle NE. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE. The Funeral is to follow in Santa Fe at the Veterans National Cemetery.

Liguori -- Pasquale A. Liguori, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, died Sunday, September 30, 2001. He is survived by his sons, Gerard Liguori and Michael Liguori and wife, Ellen, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Patricia M. Liguori, of Carlsbad; brothers, Armond Liguori and wife, Mary, of Lindenhurst, New York, Vincent Liguori and wife, Eileen, of East Islip, New York; sister Emily Ketcher and husband, Gene, of Elmont, New York; nephew, Jerry Liguori of Citrus Heights, California; grandchildren, Matthew Liguori, Missy Clibon and husband, Tony, Douglas Liguori and wife, Janne, and Gina Mosavi and husband, Mohamad; and great-grandchildren, Sarah Clibon, Melinda Clibon, Erin Liguori, Paymon Mosavi, Pegga Mosavi, and Paresa Mosavi. Mr. Liguori was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Helen. He was one of the founding fathers of Holy Ghost Church and a World War II army veteran. Pat was a member of Seliac Support Group of Albuquerque, the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Association of Albuquerque and also the Thunderbird Retirement Club of Sandia Labs. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Ghost Church, with Monsignor, Joaquin Bazan, Celebrant, 833 Arizona St. SE, with Deacon Ubaldo Chavez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Peanut Butter & Jelly, 1101 Lopez SW, 87004, or to Children's Cancer Fund of NM (Attn: Children's Clinic), P.O. Mead -- Richard G. Mead, 58, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, September 27, 2001. He is survived by his son, Wesley Verne Mead and wife, Katheranne Esquibel-Mead of Albuquerque; daughter, Deborah RiAnn Mead of Albuquerque; his companion, Red; nephews, Jon Edwards and wife, Helen and their daughter, Lara, Antonio Martinez and wife, Lori; niece, Christine Ann Edwards, all of Phoenix, AZ; and the love of his life, Nancy H. Mead. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wesley and Marian Margaret; and sister, Charlene Ann McCans. Mr. Mead received his Bachelor of Arts degree from New Mexico State University and was in accounting. He was also a builder, contractor and a truck driver. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Prayer Gathering will be held Friday, October 5, 2001, at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Webster -- Add Webster, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 2, 2001. He is survived by his son, Patrick Webster and wife, Joyce of Ohio and Florida; one brother, George D. Webster of Griswold, IA; sister-in-law, Marjorie Boyle of Sunnyvale, CA; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, including cousin, Helen Schei and Mr. Jasper Heath. He was preceded in death by his wife, Terese; parents, Aaron and Effie; brothers, Alton and Lyle; and sister, Adeline. Mr. Webster was a graduate of Cedar Falls High School in Iowa, Class of 1933 and attended the University of Northern Iowa, University of Oregon and the University of New Mexico before going to Holloman AFB. He was a Minor Leaguer in 1938-39 with the St. Louis Cardinal organization. Mr. Webster was a Disabled Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was also a member of American Legion Post 13. He was an administrator with the Small Business Administration in Albuquerque before retiring in 1972. Mr. Webster was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 8, 2001, at 10:30 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Duran -- Julian A.B. Duran, 54, a resident of Albuquerque and formally of Dixon passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 28, 2001. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran former Security Police with the Air Force and was currently a Federal Police Officer for Veterans Administrative Hospital in Albuquerque. Honors include National Defense Service Medal with 1 device, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 devices, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Overseas short tour ribbon, Air Force Devices, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon with 1 device, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with 1 device, Air Force Training, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with device. Mr. Duran is survived by his children, Ali Baba Duran and Jennifer Duran; mother of his children, Helen Duran; grandson, Mario Duran all of Albuquerque; parents, Juvencito and Melita Duran of Espanola; brothers and sisters, Frances Babbit and husband, Manuel of Bernalillo, Barbara Pacheco and Johnny of Chamisal, Oliver Duran and wife, Drucilla of Velarde and Matthew Duran and wife, Jeanette of Espanola; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Teakell -- Weldon A. Teakell, 86, went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2001 after an extended illness. He was born in Denver, Colorado April 2, 1915. He grew up in Lusk and Casper, Wyoming, served in the US Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart during his service. After World War II, he married Vera Kenny Teakell and lived in Kansas City. Following Vera's death in 1985, Weldon married Pauline Fondau. He retired from a research and medical center in Kansas City and moved to Star Lake, New Mexico where he served as a Missionary to the Navajo Nation for 15 years at the Star Lake Bible Mission. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera; parents, Margaret Ball Teakell and Arthur Weldon Teakell; sisters, Dora Teakell, and Helen Teakell Kattelman, and niece, Christina Wilkinson. He is survived by wife, Pauline Teakell; son, John Teakell and wife, Christine of Lancaster, California; daughters, Mary Teakell Davisson and husband, Dorsey of Canton, Ohio, Eunice Teakell Hernandez of Woodridge, Illinois; step-daughters, Joanna Pace, Jan Von Dauch and their families; brother, Hugh Teakell of North Carolina; sisters, Mary Teakell Toshach of Anaheim, California, Linda Teakell Wilkinson of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; 15 nieces, nephews and other friends and families who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at the Albuquerque Bible Church, 320 Montano NW, with Visitation on Wednesday, October 3, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Green -- Dr. Lawrence Green, 81, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Nina Green of the family home and three daughters, Lavenial Ballinger and husband, Curtis, LoRee Simpson, Sunny Stefanov and husband, Mark, all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Meredith Austin, Reveille Ballinger, Tim Carmichael, Kristin Griffing, Jeremy Carmichael, and Karin Burton; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Green, Sidney A. Green, and Dale S. Green; and four sisters, Frances Owens, Bernice Green, Edna Mick, and Helen Botkin; and a host of loving friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lavada (Bonnie) Kenny and a brother, Herman Green. Dr. Green was called into the ministry as a young man and served not only in pastoral ministry for 65 years, but in administrative and educational capacities as well. Over 40 years ago, God gave Dr. Green a vision for an interdenominational church in Albuquerque, which he established with the help of his family. Ten years later the vision was expanded to include a Drive-in ministry at the old Duke City Drive-In. Pastor Green will be remembered in the church as a spiritual mentor to many people, a number of whom went on to be pastors, missionaries or leaders in Christian service. He will be remembered by his family and friends as an example of strength, gentleness, generosity, and love.
