MACK -- CHARLIE "I wake up each morning determined to change the world and also to have one hell of a good time. Sometimes that makes planning the day a little difficult." EB White Charlie (Rick) "the tool man" Mack, a founder of the Lucky Bastard Club and the Secret Society of San Juan Jig Fisherman, graduated to his next marvelous adventure on June 10, 2006. He leaves his good memories with his three daughters, Shannon, Lindsay, and Kateri, his sons in-law, Jerry and Michael, his seven grandchildren; his wife, Julie; his brother, Ken; sister, Judy; and mother, Mina. We will all remember him as a driven athlete with a bounce in his walk, a consummate car guy, a Buddy Holly fan, a compendium of totally fictitious facts, the only man on the planet without a cell phone, an ability to make every rock and roll song sound the same and a man with a clear and determined focus. He never missed a breakfast date and until the very last worked to bring people together and to agreement. A Memorial Service will be held on June 20, 2006, 6:30 p.m., Ceremonial Garden, Albuquerque Botanic Gardens, 2601 Central NW, Albuquerque. We ask that you carry on Rick's fight by donating to the MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndromes) Foundation, PO Box 353, Crosswicks, NJ, 08515, in lieu of flowers. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd.
