GUTIERREZ -- Timoteo A. Gutierrez, 68, went home to be with our Lord on June 28, 2008. He was born on January 24, 1940 in Chilili, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Manuelita Gutierrez; and his son, Johnny Gutierrez. Timoteo is survived by his wife Linda Gutierrez; and his six children Timmy Gutierrez, Jennifer Gutierrez, Becky Gutierrez, Linda Gutierrez-Lujan and husband Jim, Jimmy Gutierrez and wife Carla, and step-son Daniel; eight grand-children; one great-grandchild; six brothers; and four sisters; Noe Gutierrez and wife Rose, Eloy Gutierrez and wife Louisa, Evey Gutierrez and wife Sarah, Lena Ortiz and husband Alfredo, Pedro Gutierrez Jr. and wife Alice, Placida Gutierrez and husband Elias, Ernestina Gutierrez and husband Fernando, Richard Gutierrez and wife Veronica, Gilbert Gutierrez and wife Evelyn, and Mela Garcia. Pallbearers will be Raymond Gutierrez, Leroy Ortiz, Toby Muller, Joe Gutierrez, Max Gutierrez and Fernando Gutierrez, honorary pallbearers Chris Olson and Pablo Gutierrez. Timoteo was an active member of the Chilili Rodeo Club since 1965 and the Merced de Chilili. He was also a former 4-H club leader. He enjoyed music, family and friends, classis cars, his dog Taco, and his beloved Chilili. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Child Parish, 19 Camino de Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM with funeral Mass Thursday, July 3, at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Child. Interment will follow at Pueblo de Chilili Cemetery. PACHECO -- Diane R. Pacheco, 54, passed away suddenly on June 15, 2008, in Rio Rancho. She was born in Albuquerque, NM to Anthony and Olive Pacheco on January 19, 1954. She is survived by her loving family; son, James I. Sedillo and his wife, Heather; one grandchild, Tryston Sedillo; longtime companion and friend, Anthony Marks; two sisters, Robbie Smith and Margo Lujan and husband, Randy; one nephew and three nieces, Shaun Smith, Cole Lujan, Hope Lujan, and Tess Lujan. IBARRA -- Socorro Lujan-Ibarra, 68, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on June 11, 2008. Mrs. Ibarra is survived by her husband, Alberto Ibarra; her children, Frank Ibarra and wife, Oralia, Albert Ibarra and wife, Patricia, Elena Gallegos, Art Ibarra and wife, Roseanne; her brother, Jorge Lujan; her sisters, Graciela Lujan and Alma Ruiz; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her aunt, Rosa Aragon. Mrs. Ibarra was a member of the Catholic Church, and a volunteer Grandparent at Pajarito Elementary. Visitation will be Friday at Sacred Heart Church, 309 Stover SW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by her granddaughter, Ashley Ibarra. Final visitation will be Saturday at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Clarence Maes, presider. CHAVEZ -- Nina Chavez passed away on June 4, 2008 after a long illness. Nina was born on March 23, 1927 in Willard NM. Nina was a beloved grandmother, wife, and mother. Nina is survived by her beloved husband Toby Chavez, daughters Lanette Bashore, Helen Lujan, Viola Chavez, Yvonne Chavez, son Abel Chavez and wife Barbara Chavez. SHORT -- James E. Short, age 88, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for over 60 years joined our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 2, 2008. He was a member of The American Legion Post 72. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the WWII conflict. He was an aircraft mechanic for Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. James was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Terry Aragon Short; and his parents, James and Laura Short. James is survived by his three loving daughters, Judy Short Martin and companion, Mike, Joyce Short and companion, Ron Tanner and Joanne Tenzing and husband, Hisi; seven loving grandchildren, Tony Lujan and wife, Helen, Joe Anne Lujan, Terri Lujan-Gonzales and husband, Mike, Ronnie Tanner, Matthew Short, Holly Chambers and husband, Charles and Ashley Short and companion, Gabriel Angel; great-grandchildren, Edward Lujan and wife, Erica, Jeremy De La Cruz, Shelby, Lauren and Steffan Lujan, Rebecca and Amanda Lujan- Gonzales, Teresa Short, Colby and Leyla Chambers and Gabriel and great-great-granddaughter, Mariah Lujan. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. GRIEGO -- Locario "Luckie" Griego, age 49, passed away early Saturday surrounded by his entire family after a two year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Rose Griego. He is survived by his parents Armando and Vivian Griego; ex-wife; Bernadette Lujan; children; Joseph, Carlos and Jasenta Griego. Two grandchildren; Miliano and Locario (little Luckie) Griego. CANNON -- William "Carl" Cannon, 95, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008 at his home in Moriarty, NM with his loving family beside him. Carl was born on April 18, 1913 in Tioga, TX to Willie Shirley and Edna Mae (Brown) Cannon. Carl married Eleuteria V. "Teddie" Vigil on December 7, 1949 in Santa Fe, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lorine Cravens; Merle Shields; and nephew, Phillip William Cravens. Carl is survived by his wife Teddie Cannon of Moriarty, NM; nephews, Lamar B. Cravens and wife Miree of Moriarty, NM; LeRoy Carl Craven and wife Mercedes of Encino, NM and numerous other nieces and nephews.
