Vigil -- Mr. Tony C. Vigil passed away on March 15, 1998. Mr. Vigil was married to Mrs. Sinforosa Vigil for 52 years. Mr. Vigil is survived by seven children; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; James Vigil and wife, Molly and their children, Nancy, Jason and Franky; Jerry Vigil and his children, Anna, Christopher, Roxanne, Jeremie and Monic; Rachael Vigil; Isabel Jaramillo and husband, Rudy and their children, Rubel, Angel and Aura; Carmen Romero and husband, Ralph and son, Antonio Romero; Doris Zamora and children, Sarah, Tacho, Cindy and Adam; Rosemary Montano and husband, Anthony and their children, Domonic, Veronica and Andrea. Mr. Vigil was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Marita C. Vigil; and grandparents, Manuel and Clovicita Vigil; granddaughter, Theresa; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Isabelita and Roques Candelaria and Chonita and Leo Archibeque; a half-brother, Leo Vigil; and adopted sister, Lita. Mr. Vigil was a member of the Catholic Church, a veteran of the United States Army and served in WWII. He served as a guard at the P.O.W. Camp during the War. He retired from Kirtland Air Force Base. He gave thanks to God for his beautiful wife, Sinforosa, his loving family and friends. He lived a very simple life and died a peaceful death. We love you dad. A rosary will be recited Wednesday afternoon, 4:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with visitation at the church after 3:30 p.m. Los Dolientes will recite the rosary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday morning, 10:30 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church with visitation at the church after 10:00 a.m. Msgr. Bazan, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Roqueito Candelaria, Bobby Candelaria, Leo Vigil, Benny Archibique, Charles Palacio and Steve Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Lopez, Henry Gabaldon, Albert Lopez, Jason Vigil, Frank Vigil, Christopher Vigil, Jeremy Vigil, Tacho Zamora, Adam Zamora, Avran Jaramillo, Domonic Montoya, Rubel Jaramillo, Joe Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Franky Archibeque, Ramon Archibeque, Ricky Archibeque, Felix Trujillo, Ralph Alzondo, Antonio Romero, Rudy Jaramillo, Anthony Montoya, Ralph Romero and Antonio Romero. Hager -- Patrick Alton Hager Jr., 70, a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years, died Friday, March 13, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Janet of the family home; daughter, Margaret Basile and husband, Edward of Newport News, VA; son, Robert Hager and wife, Doris of Albuquerque, and daughter, Cynthia Ann Field and husband, Terry of Tucson, AZ; grandsons, Edward, James, Richard, Scott, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Amber; and brothers, William Thomas Hager and wife, Dorothy, and Johnny Hager and wife, June, all of Statesville, NC. Mr. Hager was a member of Alcyone Lodge #695 of Northport, NY, Ballut Abyad Temple of Albuquerque, and was Shriner clown, Smoky. He owned Sierra Mobile Auto Clinic and taught diesel mechanics at Albuquerque T-VI. After he retired, Mr. Hager loved to tinker and loved to help his neighbors. Kenton -- Mrs. Alicia (Alice) P. Kenton, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 14, 1998. Mrs. Kenton is survived by one daughter, Nina Lou Kenton and husband, Joe Baca; three sons, Thomas Kenton and wife, Clementine, Timmy Kenton, Bobby Kenton and wife, Helen; two sisters, Florida Salazar and Ruth Pacheco; five brothers, Fermin Pacheco, Levi Pacheco, Juan Pacheco and wife, Eufelia, Andres Pacheco and wife, Eralia, and Samuel Pacheco and wife, Ruth; 18 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at the Living Word Baptist Church, 5700 Coors SW, with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Jim Nicholson, officiating. A second visitation will be Monday evening, after 5:00 p.m., in the El Rito Presbyterian Church in Cachon, NM. Interment will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., in the El Rito Presbyterian Cemetery, El Rito, NM. Pino -- Mary V. Pino, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 14, 1998. Mrs. Pino was the beloved mother of one daughter, Lucy Pino; and one son, William Pino and wife, Consuelo (Connie). Mrs. Pino is also survived by eight grandchildren, Domonic, William Melvin, Eric, Tanya, Michelle, Sondra, Adrian and Nathaniel; two great-grandchildren, Darrien and Christina; three sisters, Carmen Romero and husband, Jose, Elsie Trujillo and husband, Greg, and Mary Lou Lucero; two brothers, Eugenio"Gene" Vigil and wife, Tina, and Johnny Vigil and wife, Lauri; one aunt, Frances Reina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Pino was preceded in death by her husband, Teodoro Pino; and sons, Patrick and Michael. Mrs. Pino was a member of the Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Martha Herrera will recite the rosary. Herrera -- Mr. Herbert Herrera, 65, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away March 12, 1998. Mr. Herrera is survived by four sons, Pancho Herrera and wife, Eloisa, Mariano Herrera, Carlos Herrera, and Johnny Herrera; three sisters, Lucy Lucero and husband, Ernie, Priscilla Funkey and husband, Al, and Charlena Lopez; one grandson, Rick Herrera; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Herrera was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 1998, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m., by Deacon Alfonso Montoya and a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Deacon Alfonso Montoya, Officiant. Castleberry -- Johnny E. Castleberry, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Norma Jean of the family home; sons, James G. Castleberry and companion, Karen Crain of Albuquerque, John Charles and wife, Linda of Beaverton, OR, William Keith and wife, Jaymerose of Albuquerque; brother, Jim Castleberry of DeKalb, MS; sister, Maxine Moehle and husband, Hank of Palm Dale, CA; numerous cousins; one niece; one nephew; one uncle; and one aunt. Mr. Castleberry was born June 22, 1931 in Marvell, AR. He attended schools in West Helena, AR. Mr. Castleberry served in the US Air Force overseas from 1951-1954. He retired from Civil Service as a photographer from DNA and Chief of Duplicating Center at KAFB. Mr. Castleberry coached the KAFB baseball team in the 50's and 60's and he was active in coaching Little League and Babe Ruth. He was active in Senior Softball for the past ten years. Services will be held Thursday, 9:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor John R. Torrison of Tijeras Baptist Church officiating. Interment will take place at 12:00 noon at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene DeWall, Royce Lackey, Bill Russell, Bobby Yeary, Hank Moehle, and Antonio Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers will be Albuquerque 65'ers Senior Softball Team. Valdez -- Robert Valdez, 53, passed away March 2, 1998. He was preceded in death by brother, Marcello Valdez Sr.; and sister, Cecilia Silva. Garcia -- Circilia passed away February 24th, 1998 at the age of 66. A lifetime resident of Ponderosa, New Mexico. She is survived by her brothers Frank Garcia, Juan Garcia wife, Deluvira; and two sisters, Aurora Gonzales and husband Frank, Soraida Maestas; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Garcia; several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Simon and Christina Garcia; a brother, Simon; and sisters, Irene and Sally. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 6:00 p.m. at Santo Toribio Church in Ponderosa, New Mexico. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Santo Toribio.
