Davis -- Annie Frances Davis, 76, a resident of Belen, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 02, 2002. She was a member of the Protestant Church and the Lord was always in her heart. She retired from the Civil Air Patrol at Kirkland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. Annie's grandchildren were very special to her and she loved all of her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucius and Flossie Davis; her son, Thomas Begley; and her two brothers, L.B. and Billy Davis. She is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Frances Harris and Gene Bezzeg of Belen; her son, Timmy Davis and his fiancée, Stephanie Jaramillo of Belen; her six grandchildren, Jodie Lucero; Leslie Villa; Donald and Scott Harris; Thomas and Vincent Begley; three great-grandchildren, Remie Sanchez; Dakota Lucero; and Amber. She is also survived by her brother, Wylie Davis and his wife, Barbara of Hayward, CA. and her many loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2002, in the Romero Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Albuquerque. Myers -- Donald Myers (May 15, 1932 - April 2, 2002) is in the Lord's hands as he said in his own words shortly before he left to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and other loved ones who preceded him in death. He was a strong Christian example with a kind heart. He faithfully attended Eastern Hills Baptist Church and Manzano Baptist Church. He served his country in the Army during the 1950's. He will be greatly missed until the day his family is reunited with him in heaven. He was the devoted husband of Margaret; loving father of Terri (Chuck), Mark (Francine), Sue, Buzzy (Sherri), Matt (Michelle), Donnie (Amy); best and proud grandfather of Chuck II (Chris), Shannon (Dennis), Jeff, Buddy, Elizabeth, Danielle, Dee Dee, Justin, Dylan, Brandyn and Noah; devoted great-grandfather of Andrew, Zach, Abigail and Baby Groves on the way; brother of Bobby (Cathy); brother-in-law and special friend of Ernest Alvrez; caring uncle of several nieces and nephews. Services will be held, Saturday, April 6, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at Manzano Baptist Church, 12411 Linn Avenue NE with Pastor Larry Miller and Pastor Bert Singletary officiating. Finley -- Clarence U. Finley, 76, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away midmorning Saturday, March 30, 2002 of natural causes. He was a highly decorated World War II Veteran. In 1945 he was granted the Purple Heart for his participation at Okinawa. He was later honored with a Oak Leaf Cluster for his efforts at Shima. Clarence, had been employed at the Security Force in Los Alamos and by the University of California for many years. He retired in the early 90's and managed Finley Mobile Home Park. He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Rebecca Lynn Finley, and son Dr. David Finley. He is survived by his wife, Betty Finley of Arroyo Seco; daughter, Marsha Fralick, San Diego, CA, Darryl Finley, Albuquerque, Clarence (Dee) and Nancy Finley, San Diego, CA, Richard Finley, Albuquerque, Donald Finley, Espanola, Debr and James Campa, Alcalde, Shiela Gentry, Arroyo Seco; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral servives are pending.

Tatum -- Charlene S. Tatum, 74, a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, died Thursday, March 28, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Burl C. Tatum of Albuquerque; son, Rodney Yoak and wife, Christina of Murray, KY; daughter, Janet Abdinor of Lawrenceville, GA; stepdaughters, Linda Carpenter and husband, Charles Fuch of Arlington, TX and Johnnie Kelley of Benbrook, TX; stepson, Troy Tatum and wife, Judy of Davenport, IA; sister, Oneida Songer of Huntington, WV; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and niece, Barbara Collins of Huntington, WV. Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Shepard and twin, Charles Shepard. She was a member of The Order of the Amaranth past Royal Matron and past Grand Royal Matron; The Order of the Eastern Star - past Worthy Matron; The White Shrine of Jerusalem Yucca Temple #74; Daughters of the Nile; and Beauceant. Mrs. Tatum was a longtime teacher at Daniel Fernandez Elementary in Los Lunas, retiring ten years ago. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor John Embrey officiating. Interment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Monday, 9:00 a.m. until service time. Ward-Malm -- Doris (Dusty) E. Ward-Malm, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2002. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind her brother, Ret. SGM Donald E. Bobbs -- Dorothy Bobbs, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away March 24, 2002. She was a faithful member of Truevine Baptist Church, who worked hard and was supportive of her husband, during his 47 years in the ministry. She was a private nurse and a homemaker after her retirement. She was active in her church activities, the Baptist Convention and helping the indigent with charitable donations. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Rev. V.L. Bobbs, Sr; her children, Lilly Marie Robinson and husband, Calvin of Garden, City, KS, Patricia Ann Watts and husband, Oneil of Albuquerque, Laura Mae Lewis and husband, Donald of Albuquerque, Linda Gale Hawkins of Las Vegas, NV, John L. Bobbs and wife, LaShaun of Inglewood, CA, Vurne L. Bobs Jr. and wife, Cynthia of Los Angeles, CA and James Alvin Bobbs of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one sister, Bernice Boyd of Alexandria, LA; and one brother, Flan Johnson of Alexandria, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elnora Newman and a daughter, Margaret Ann Bradshaw, and two sisters, Laura and Lucille. Mendoza -- Rosie Saiz Mendoza, born in Socorro, NM, died Friday, March 22, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM. Mrs. Mendoza is preceded in death by her parents, Querino and Pauline Saiz. She is survived by her husband, Epifanio M. Mendoza of 45 years; sisters, Betty Zamora of Albuquerque, NM, Isabel Perales of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Manuel Saiz and wife, Lucia of Austin, TX; sons, Epifanio S. Mendoza III and wife, Mary, Tony Serna and wife, Darlene, Sammy Serna and wife, Darlene, Joe Serna and wife, Victoria, and Paul Serna; daughters, Viola Altamirano, Mary Armijo and husband, Theodore, and Eva Telles; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; many friends and neighbors. Weaver -- Dr. Wayne C. Weaver, Veterinarian, age 88, died Friday, March 22, 2002. He was a resident of Country Side Personal Care Home in Lehighton, PA. Dr. Weaver got his education at Ben Salem U.C.C., Lehighton, PA, 1931, Lehighton High School Graduate, University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Medicine in 1937. He opened his Veterinary Clinic for large and small animals in Andreas, Schuykill Co, PA from 1940 until 1981. He was a Life Member of PA Veterinary Medical Assoc; F.& A.M. Masons 621, Lehighton, PA; Rajah Temple of Reading, PA; West Penn Lions Member, where he was honored as Citizen of the year for West Penn Twp. 1981. He also received the Melvin Jones Fellowship award for Humanitarian Service in 1993. He was on the Board of Directors for Tri County State Bank Bowmanstown, Carbon Co., PA and American Bank & Trust Co., Tamaqua, PA. Dr. Weaver was preceded in death by; his father and mother, Clinton Daniel Weaver and Lulu Jane Weaver (Peters); his first wife, Luella Weaver (Miller); second wife, Edith Weaver (Snyder); and one great-grandchild, Rachel Weaver. He is survived by; two sons, Donald Weaver and wife, Sally, of Hatboro, PA, and Berdel Weaver and wife, Reta of Portales, NM; two daughters, Doris E. Sherman and husband, Richard of Montoursville, PA, and Cindy L. Nothstein and husband, Robert of Andreas, PA; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; and companion, Myrtle Fritz.
