Roebuck -- Vincente E. Roebuck, 69, a resident of Las Nutrias, NM, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 27, 1998. He was a member of the San Isidro Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Canton, and his brother, Melvin Canton. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Roebuck; four sons, Vincent Roebuck, Jr., Eddie Roebuck, Charles Birner and Nester Birner; three daughters, Tali Roebuck, Charlein Megherby and Angela Wilkinson; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Douglas, Fidelis, Oliver, Mario, Fremont and Ricky; two sisters, Inez Sewer and Roselyn Lang. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in Las Nutrias. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Las Nutrias. Pallbearers will be Leo Lovato, Malcom Schoppe, Chuck Birner, Tony Ulibarri, Esmael Baca and Michael Birner. Woodruff -- Marietta Woodruff, a loving mother and devoted Christian resident of Albuquerque and San Diego, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia Clouse and husband, Douglas McElroy of Laguna Hills, CA, Catherine Magnussen and husband, David of Georgia, Cindy Wootton, Chris Wootton, both of Albuquerque, Carrie Devine and husband, John of San Diego, CA and Colleen Wootton of San Diego, CA; sons, Robert Wootton of Socorro, NM, Kenneth Wootton and wife, Charlene Brown of Albuquerque and Billy Wootton and wife, Christina of Albuquerque; siblings, Howard Woodruff of Oregon, Charles Woodruff and wife, Joyce of Payallup, WA, Silas Woodruff of Indianapolis, IN, Nancy Woolf of Lawn, TX, Alice Long and husband, Frank of Plain City, OH and Sarah Carnes and husband, Wilbur of Belle Center, OH; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren. Olguin -- Mr. Bernardino (Bernie) Olguin, 51, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 1998 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mr. Olguin lived for many years in the Fort Lyon Medical Center in Las Animas, Colorado and was a previous resident of Gallup, NM. Mr. Olguin is survived by his mother, Vickie Guinn of Gallup, NM; two sisters, Josie Marrujo and husband, Trini and Theresa Dunsworth and husband, Danny, both of Albuquerque; three brothers, Bobby Olguin and Rosanne Mares of Glendale, AZ, Alexander Olguin of Douglas, AZ, and Buddy Guinn Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Blue Springs, MO; nephews and nieces, Anthony, Robert, Danny Jr., Danita and Dean Dunsworth, Johnny, Michael, Monica and T.J. Marrujo, Gidget and Paul Nieznijko, Buddy III, Amanda and Ryan Guinn; also numerous other family members and friends. Mr. Olguin was a member of the Catholic Church and proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Visitation will be Thursday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Allen Sanchez. Final visitation will be Friday morning in the St. Charles Church, 1818 Coal SE, from 9:15 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Father Conrad, Celebrant. A committal service with full military honors will be Friday at 12:00 noon in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tomas Martinez, Johnny Marrujo, Michael Marrujo, Danny Dunsworth, Danny Dunsworth Jr., and Dean Dunsworth. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Rich -- Betty Rich, 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 1998 in Albuquerque, where she lived for the past 39 years. Betty Blanche Dixon Riley Rich was born in Susanville, CA on Saturday, October 20, 1923, to Alvin Elmer Dixon and Nola Merle Faulkner Dixon. Betty was orphaned at the age of nine years. She was raised by her maternal grandmother, Nora Faulkner Moss. Betty attended Lassen Union High School in Susanville, CA from 1937 until December of 1940 when she married Evert Riley. In 1959 she married Otis Rich and moved to Albuquerque. She is survived by her brother, Calvert Dixon and wife, Margie of Atlanta, GA; a son and two daughters, Douglas Riley and wife, Jo of Oakview, CA and their children, Deanna and John Hawkins, Charles and Gwen Riley, and Erin and Roger Worsham, Misty Bradley and husband, Bruce of Ventura, CA and their children, Ginger Rader and Bruce E. Bradley, Judy Iverson and husband, Wally of Albuquerque and their children, Dawn Candelaria, Eric and Theresa Iverson, Cindy and Nick Brown, and Paul and Alane Harden; and 18 great-grandchildren, which were the love of her life, Danny and Haley Hawkins, Kara Riley, Ryan, Andrew and Alexandria Worsham, Kristin, Dylan and Cameron Rader, Sarah, Megan and Cosmo Candelaria, Ashley and Alyssa Iverson, Curtis and Cody Brown, and Helen and Kyle Harden. Betty enjoyed living at Embudo Towers for the last 11 years, where she made some of the best friends of her life. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life which will be held at the home of Wally and Judy Iverson, Friday, May 15, 1998, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Her cremains were placed in a private location that she loved. Brett -- David Duane Brett, age 79, passed away on March 23, 1998 in Albuquerque. He was born on July 8, 1918 to Frank Brett and Verna Douglas in Dec, IL. He is survived by his wife, LaVern Brett of Albuquerque; his children, Lee and Lisa Brett of Duncanville, TX, Lisa and John Theriot of Mesquite, TX, Michael T. Gruber of Moriarty, NM, Mary A. Gruber of Albuquerque, Patrick and Sheri Gruber of Morristown, MN, Julie Wright and Santiago Bowers of Albuquerque, Charles L. and Sheri Gruber of Oceanside, CA, Daniel J. Gruber, Timothy J. and Sally Gruber of Albuquerque, Theresa Gruber of Moriarty, NM, George Gruber of Moriarty, NM, Rose M. and David Bailey of Albuquerque; one brother, Keith and Ethel Brett of Naples, FL; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He lived in this area 35 years after moving from Decatur, IL. Before retirement, he was employed for the US Government with the FBI. He belonged to St. Luke Lutheran Church. He attended the Illinois Normal School in Bloomington, IL, was a member of the Board of Education and part-owner of Brettwood Shopping Center in Decatur, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 1998, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Sandia Funeral Care Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 1998, 10:00 a.m., at the Sandia Funeral Care Chapel with Pastor Harold T. Nilsson of St. Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Pallbearers are Santiago Bowers, Gordon Penney, Daniel Gruber, Thomas Gruber, John Theriot, and Daniel Gruber Jr. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
