Jackson -- Joyce Elois Jackson, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2000. Mrs. Jackson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a talented artist. She is survived by one son, Bob Jackson and his wife, Ruby of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Betty Tierney and husband, Daniel of Beeville, TX, Rosemary Stakvel and husband, Curley of Cedar Crest, Lee Jackson of Houston, TX, Paula Hayden and husband, Jeff of Albuquerque, Laura Wood and husband, Woody, of Beeville, TX, Rex Jackson and wife, Julie of Austin, TX, and Tresa Coker and husband, David of Carrolton, TX; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, A.M. (Buck) Jackson in October, 1998; a son, Bill Jackson; and a grandson, Jay Morgan Jackson. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Services will be on Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul NE at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Entombment will follow. Mcdonald -- Pauline McDonald, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Wednesday, February 16, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dave McDonald; daughter, Karen McDonald; son, Tim McDonald, all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Davina M. Pernell and husband, Duane of Los Lunas; great-grandsons, Michael, Brian, James and Patrick Pernell; brothers, Irvin D. Robertson and wife, Violet of Chicago, IL and Kenneth W. Robertson and wife, Jeannie of Decatur, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her son, David M. McDonald. She will be greatly missed by her friends and neighbors. Childers -- Herby C. Childers, 83, a longtime resident of Mountainair, NM, passed away Monday, February 14, 2000 in Albuquerque. He was born November 13, 1916, to David Pascaul and Tommie Ellen (Morris) Childers in Snyder, TX. Mr. Childers was a retired construction worker and served in the army during WWII. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Herby Paul and Dorothy Jean Childers of Valliant, OK; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Carol and Buddy Ray Morris of Broken Bow, OK; four sisters, Vera Thomas of Los Lunas, Lela Fay Leonard of Los Lunas, Norma Guillot of Alamogordo and Mae Robertson of Edgewood; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Mr. Childers was preceded in death by his parents, David and Tommie Childers; three sisters, Pearl Eubank, Muriel Bailey and Cora Lee Farmer; two sons, David C. Childers and Melvin Ray Childers; one brother, Calvin Childers and his wife, Pauline Dye Childers. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, February 18, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gerald Dale Schennault, Steven Earl Combs, Travis Ray Combs, Jody Don Combs, David Gene Childers, Danny Ray Childers, Ronny Paul Childers and Johnny Ray Prentiss. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Dodd, Cecil Autry, Vernon Guillot, Toby Barela and Bill Bennett. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM.

Housman -- Levi Colton Grant Housman, 14-month old son of Reese Butler Housman and Pamela Jo Housman of Fort Collins, died Sunday, February 13, 2000, in Fort Collins. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Tyler Casey Housman, Matthew Kolln and Todd Kolln, all of Fort Collins, Cody, Patrick and James Housman, all of Albuquerque; one sister, Shannon Marie Housman of Albuquerque; grandparents, Jane Housman of Albuquerque, David and Patricia Housman of Albuquerque, and Kevin and Sharon Swenson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and several aunts and uncles. A grandfather, Rinaldo Rex Benton, preceded him in death. A private interment will take place Friday, February 18, 2000, in Sunset Memorial Park. Lucero and Gina and Ralph Armijo and wife, Nancy; three sisters, Lydia Lucero, Casilda Montoya and husband, Erineo, Sandra Castro and husband, Tony; three brothers, Tony Lucero, Joe Lucero and wife Toni, Victor Lucero and Eva; twelve grandchildren, Anthony, Armando, Charlene, Alfred, Anita, Richard, Monica, Robert, Jhanene, Alyssa, Amber and Ralph Jr.; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Ms. Lucero was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Delfinia Lucero; her companion, Joe C. Armijo; her sons, Bobby and Ernest Lucero; grandson, Julian Carlos David Lucero; three brothers, Ernest, Louie and Marcelino Lucero; her sister, Tillie Martinez. Ms. Lucero was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday evening in the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM from 7:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m. by Mr. Charles Aguilar. Final Visitation will be Tuesday morning in the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Abreu -- Conrado Abreu passed on Thursday morning with his family at his side, at the age of 91. He was born in Mora, NM in 1908 to Emelia and Anectio Abreu. He came to Albuquerque when he was five years old, where he settled and married the late Concha Romero Abreu for 66 years. He retired after 50 years of service with Springer Transfer Company, where he was known to be the best truck driver that ever worked for Springer. He is preceded in death by his wife, Concha; son, Lawrence; daughter, Isabella Maria Abreu; and brother, Pablo Barrera. He lives in loving memory with his daughter, Emily and husband, Albert; grandchildren, Concepcion, Michael, Katherine, Lorenzo and wife, Tisha, Vincent Leon, Albert Ray and wife, Charlotte Teupell, Barbara and Al Saiz, John, Alfred and wife, Edwina, Conrad and wife, Annette, Carmella and husband, Gabriel and also, Julian Abreu. Conrado's great-grandchildren include, Albert, Isabella and Veronica Ortega, Alex and Sheldon Finley, Stephen and Michelle Teupell, Armelina, Lorenzo, Andrea, Jonathan and Ashley Teupell, Adam, Elisha Teupell and Conselo Martinez, Janelle, Brittany and Alfred Jr. Abreu, Andreas, Angelicia and Adrianna Abreu, Gabriella and Kayla Benavidez. The great-great-grandchild, Sabrina Teupell will miss him deeply. Mr. Abreu was father to Pete Romero and wife, Clorinda and children, Pete Jr., Natalie, Johnny Ray, Marie and Clarence. A special cousin, David Chavez will live forever with his memory. He will be missed and thought of every day by all. He has one surviving brother, Ramon and wife and family; sisters-in-law, Julia Benavidez and Pefania Barrera. He is also survived by newly discovered Abreu cousins from Las Vegas, NM. The family wishes to thank Vista Care Hospice for their excellent service, especially his nurse, Kathy Corcoran, with special thanks to Lorraine Goss. He will be thought of every day and missed immensely. Funeral Services for Mr. Abreu will be held on Monday at the San Ignacio Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Teupell, Gabriel Benavidez, Albert Ortega, Lorenzo Teupell, Alfred Abreu Jr., David Chavez, Eddie Abreu Jr. and Fernando Waseta. Honorary pallbearers will be all his great-grandchildren. A Rosary for Mr. Abreu will be recited on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. at San Ignacio Church. Robles -- Mr. Manuel Robles, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 10, 2000. Mr. Robles is survived by his daughters, Gloria Zamora and husband, David and Mary E.
