RIVERA -- ALBERT E. Born March 26, 1926 - September 11, 2011, born in Roy, NM, the youngest of four children and orphaned at the age of two. He was educated at St. George's School and Roy High School and enlisted in the US Army on June 15, 1943 having found a way to pass the vision test in spite of being legally blind in one eye. He served as a medical corpsman in the Pacific theatre before and during the liberation of the Phillipine Islands. Albert Rivera and Mary Teresa Martinez were married on February 26, 1946 and Albert was honorably discharged from the army on January 20, 1947 and then raised seven children first in Roy and then in Raton, NM. Mary was taken from this world on July 23, 1976 and several years after her death, Albert left Raton to pursue an undergraduate degree first at the College of Santa Fe and then at NM State University in Las Cruces. In 1980 Albert came to Albuquerque to be the resident manager of the Park Plaza Condominiums near Old Town. He retired in 1994 and spent the next few years between Montana and Albuquerque where he remained until his death. Albert was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish lending his time and talents to the community as a lay minister and a member of the parish council. In addition to his wife Mary, Albert was pre-deceased by his sister, Lilia Trujillo; brothers, Louis and Michael; sisters-in-law, Rachel Lujan, Della Velasquez, Clorinda and Fay Rivera; brothers-in-law, Sam and Joe Martinez and John Velasquez. He is survived by his children, Alberta, Michael and wife Patricia, Francis and wife Loretta, Patrick and wife Maria, Louis, Mary Elizabeth and husband, Greg LeBlanc and Albert P. and wife Linda; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews; in-law, Evelyn and husband Alfred De Herrera, Viola Griego, Leo and wife, Cruz Martinez and Alfonso Lujan. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on September 22, 2011 and a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on September 22, 2011. Both services will be held at Sacred Heart Church. Interment and a private memorial will be held on October 28, 2011 at 12:45 p.m. in Santa Fe. Memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, Sacred Heart Parish or the charity of choice.

ULIBARRI -- ANTONIO "TONY" J. Age 86, a resident of Belen, NM passed away with his loving family by his bedside on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Lovelace Hospital. He was born to the late Meliton and Magdalena Chavez Ulibarri of Las Nutrias. Tony proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard USS Gradley and USS Black Hawk from 1943-1945. He was a proud veteran of World War II. Returning from war Tony met and fell in love with Mona Aragon they married in El Paso, TX on March 25, 1946. They truly had a love that was golden with over 65 years of marriage. Born to this union were four children a son, Leo and three daughters, Criselda, Carol and Belinda. Most of their married years were spent in Barstow, CA where Tony was employed at the USMC Logistic Marine Base as a carpenter until his retirement in 1979. The next ten years Tony operated his own business A.J. Ulibarri Construction. In 1989 Tony and Mona moved back to Las Nurtias where Tony was able to build their dream house. With Mona failing health they moved back to Belen. Tony was able to give the loving care Mona needed until her death August 23, 2011. Tony was also able to install and help shape the skills and work ethics to his grandchildren who used them to all have success in life. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by is loving wife, Mona Aragon Ulibarri; his parents; four brothers, Henry, Benny, Lucino and Meliton Jr. Ulibarri; sister, Celia Reyes; and sister-in-law, Bridget Ulibarri. Tony is survived by his loving family a son, Leo Ulibarri and wife, Mary of Barstow, CA; three daughters, Criselda Cole and husband, Jack of Belen, Carol Krow and husband, Dan of Belen and Belinda Haldin and husband, Rick of Sioux Rapids, IA; nine grandchildren, Jack, Mark, Alisha, Brian, Mona, Raymond, Danny, Michelle and Jennifer; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lecho Ulibarri and wife, Annie of CA, Joe Ulibarri, David Ulibarri and wife, Cecilia; two sisters, Vina Mendoza and Maria R. Tenorio all of Albuquerque and sister-in-law, Canda Ulibarri of CA. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and relatives. All services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, beginning with a viewing at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011 with a prayer service to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. ARBOGAST -- JEFFERY Passed suddenly early morning on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Jeff is survived by his three children, Jonathan Arbogast, Michael Arbogast, and Chelsea Arbogast; nine grandchildren; his mother, Carolyn Arbogast; brothers, Greg Arbogast, Erich Arbogast, and Conrad Arbogast; sister, Becky Arbogast Garrity; many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Manzano High School. Jeff worked in the Office of Medical Investigator, and retired as a Detective from the Albuquerque Police Department after 27 years of service. Jeff was very involved with the creation of the Albuquerque Police Museum. He had a love of police memorabilia and old west collectibles and history. Jeff was a generous man and very passionate about his family and friends. He was a hard working, dedicated, and warm hearted man who will be greatly missed by all. BELL -- OLIVE LANCE McCASKILL December 22, 1915 - July 26, 2011 Was born in Greenville, Mississippi, on December 22, 1915. She married Saul Bell in August of 1937 and they made their home in Albuquerque shortly thereafter. Olive and Saul raised nine children and shared 59 happy years of marriage. Olive was a gifted and captivating storyteller, an avid reader, and a lifelong learner with an unquenchable thirst for adventure. She marveled at the world and modeled an attitude of curiosity and passion for her children and grandchildren. Olive embodied a spirit of adventure and boldness, and gave each of her descendants a deep appreciation for their family history. Olive was preceded in death by her husband Saul Bell and her son Mandel Bell. She leaves behind a nephew, Jamie McCaskill; 36 direct descendants including her eight living children: Elizabeth, Hugh (Margaret), Eddie (Pam), Neil, Alan (Audrey), Martin (Paula Crevoshay), Molly (Charles Springer), Bruce (Darcel); 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); three great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Olive's name to the New Mexico Library for the Blind (1209 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, 87507-5166), a great program that provided her pleasure and sanity for over 17 years, or Open Space Alliance (P.O. Box 91265, Albuquerque, NM 87199), because Olive valued the preservation of New Mexico's beautiful open space and enjoyed seeing the bright green of their sorghum field from her south garden. We cherish our memories of her and will pass her stories on and on. Olive's family wishes to thank our many friends and relatives for their support and thoughtfulness. An open house memorial celebration of Olive's life will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2011, in the Olive and Saul Bell Plaza of Bosque School, anytime between 10am-1pm (4000 Learning Rd., Albuquerque, NM 87120).

BLOSSOM -- JULIE Age, 79, passed away on September 15, 2011. She was born and raised in Albuquerque. She attended Harwood School for Girls, Browning Business School, and worked at Sandia National Laboratories, University of California (Livermore) and was a supervisor with Social Security Data Operations Center in Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Kip; children, and grandchildren; Catherine Blossom (Caitlin, Carlianne), Carol Blossom Stach, David Blossom and wife Andrea (Meghan, Jordan); She is also survived by two brothers, Liberato Leal and Sam Leal and wife. At her request, there will be no memorial service. A private interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. BOLDEN -- FRANCES Departed this life on Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. John Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She leaves to mourn two sons, Neil Bolden and Carrington Bolden; a devoted God-daughter, Reverend Louise A. Battle; a spiritual daughter, Gloria Newson; and a sister, Dinah White. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, James, who passed away April of this year; two daughters, Valerie Harris and Lalisa Johnson; her sister, Susie Taylor; brothers, Samuel, Frank, James and Charley Adams; and one son-in-law, Gary Harris. CLINE -- VICTOR KENNETH Was born on December 22, 1920 in Paragould, Arkansas to Galvin Astor Cline and Ella Little Cline, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Pilot and retired in 1968 with the rank of Lt. Colonel. After retirement he spent two years in Billings, MT. working on a cattle ranch. He began teaching Aerospace education in Moscow, ID, Valley High School, and Torrejon, Spain. At Valley High School he taught Jr. ROTC. He enjoyed working with cattle, horses, gardening and flying. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, of 34 years, Joanne Mae Choate; two sons, Victor Jr. and Gregory; and one grandson, Shawn. He is survived by his sister Mathel Jerry Akers; his current wife of 33 years, DeeAnn Dumas Cline; one son, Douglas Victor Cline; step-children, Kevin Cline, Tracy Love Sanchez and husband, Dan; and six grandchildren, Victoria, Kelsey, Benjamin and wife, Brandi, Dillon, Dalton and Denton.
