Henze -- Grace Elizabeth, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2000. She was born to Albert and Regina Salzman on June 21, 1928 in San Antonio, TX. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lee Henze and four children; Mark Henze and wife, Alicia of Ft. Worth, TX; Matthew Henze and wife, Patricia of Kernersville, NC, Sharon Burnett and husband, William of Plano, TX, and Diane McDonald of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Henze Cooper, Christopher and David Henze, Erin and Lyndsey Burnett, Kristyn and Emily McDonald; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Christina, and Nicholas Cooper; sisters, Marjorie Large of Houston, TX, Patricia Parma and husband, Edwin, Irene Reinhard and husband, Erwin, and Imogene Foreman and husband, Michael, all of San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Regina Salzman and brother, Melvin Salzman. Mrs. Henze was a schoolteacher for the Albuquerque Public Schools until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church where she was active with St. Vincent de Paul Society. Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 15, 2000, 8:30 a.m., Our Lady of Annunciation, 2621 Vermont NE. Cremation will follow with interment of cremains to take place in San Antonio, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, 2621 Vermont NE, 87110.

Isberg -- Brooke Isberg, 50 years old, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, formerly of Birmingham, MI, died September 9, 2000. Beloved sister of Ralph (Carol-Kumamoto) Isberg. Loving aunt of Max and Robyn Isberg. Devoted daughter of the late Max Isberg and the late Elaine Isberg Howard. Niece of David Weisman and Bess Zechman. Also survived by Neil Zechman. Reinow -- Gloria Reinow, 91, a resident of Rio Rancho and formerly Tamarac, FL and New York City, died August 28, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Melvin and children, Franklin of Albuquerque, David of San Jose, CA and Deborah of San Francisco, CA; and grandchildren, Jared and Gregory of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents Dora and Harry Shoham and two sisters and a brother, Ada Levin, Shirley Bloom, and William Shoham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Hospice Inpatient Unit at Ana Kaseman Hospital.

Astorino -- Thomas Blasius Astorino, 71, a resident of Sandia Park since 1981, died Friday, September 8, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet Astorino; daughters, Lynette Adams of Cottonwood, AZ and Gina Glantz and husband, David T. of Danville, CA, Cheryl Briones and husband, Louie of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Steven, Katie, Janet, and Matthew; sisters, Mary Rose McCuin, Edith Rost, Genevieve Jones, and Florence Ruskey; brothers, Frank Audia, and John Astorino, Jr.; and many nephews and nieces. Mr. Astorino was born in Utah on February 4, 1929, and joined the United States Navy at the age of 14. He worked in mining for several years and raised his family in the San Francisco Bay area. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren, working on home projects and swing dancing. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of Holy Child Catholic Church. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited at Holy Child Catholic Church on Monday, September 11, 2000, 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Jose Escandon officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2000, at Holy Child Catholic Church, with Father John Carney, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Carvajal -- Anita L. Carvajal, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, September 8, 2000. She is survived by her sons, Bruce Carvajal and wife, Diane, Craig Carvajal, David Carvajal, Eliot Carvajal and wife, Yvonne and Dan Harris; grandchildren, Daniel and Catherine Carvajal; brother, Donald Rojas and wife, Cheryl. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Carvajal in 1991. She began her career as a nurse anesthethist working at various hospitals in Albuquerque. Later, Anita joined her husband's law practice as a paralegal. She also helped as a substitute teacher for disabled students in the Albuquerque Public School system. Anita loved gardening, skiing, traveling, and cooking. She will be remembered as a vibrant person who was full of life. Services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW. Friends may visit French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW, Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bruce Carvajal, Craig Carvajal, David Carvajal, Eliot Carvajal, Donald Rojas, and Dan Harris. Ferris -- David Ferris, 43, passed away on August 30, 2000 in San Diego, California. He is survived by his father, Joe Ferris; his brother, Michael Ferris; nephews, Brandon and Joey, all of Pueblo, CO and his brother, Matthew Ferris of Albuquerque. His mother, Irene Ferris preceded him in death. David was a graduate of Sandia High School, Class of 1975 and New Mexico State University. After leaving college, he began his career as a manager for various movie theaters in the Albuquerque area. He then left for California where he started his own very successful acting and modeling schools. He helped launch many careers from San Francisco to Los Angeles and San Diego. David was a wonderful and loving son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all. A Memorial service was held in San Diego and any condolences may be sent to his family at 4109 Club Manor Dr., Pueblo, Colorado 81008.

Humphrey -- Adelle Humphrey, 86, died Thursday, September 7, 2000 in a local nursing home. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2000 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel with Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating Services directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Mrs. Humphrey was born in Callahan County, TX on December 28, 1913. She married L.M."Larry" Humphrey, December 20, 1940 in Abilene. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star and Asbury United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, NM. Survivors include her husband, L.M."Larry" Humphrey of Merkel; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pat Humphrey of Lihue, HI; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Knisley of Albuquerque, NM; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Mae Bockman of Merkel; two grandchildren, Marcia Chase and Jason Humphrey.

Meneses -- Victoria L. Meneses, 25, a resident of Albuquerque for 15 years, died Wednesday, September 6, 2000. She is survived by her mother, Ramona Meneses of Albuquerque; father, Temo Meneses of California; brother, David Meneses and wife, Rosa; and sister, Angelica Meneses, all of Albuquerque. Victoria was a very hard worker and was a father and mother to her kids. She dreamed of someday being a police officer, and always thought of others before herself. Victoria was very loyal to her work as an associate at Wal-Mart and was very friendly and courteous. She will be missed by all especially her children, John and Arlene Herrmann. May you rest in peace my sweet daughter. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
