Emenhiser -- Russell Milan Emenhiser passed away at home on Friday, September 15, 2000. Russell was born in Fredericks, OK on May 26, 1919. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Louise; son, Irl Nolan Emenhiser; an infant son; brother, Buddy;and his beloved canine companion, Sammy Jo. He is survived by daughter, Cindy Gyure and her husband, Gary of Albuquerque; sons, Ronald J. Ivey and his wife, Paula of Coriscana, TX and Bruce Lane and his wife, Debbie of Evansville, IN; daughter-in-law, Suzie Byerly; sisters, Opal McDown, Ina Becker and Jeanne Woodring, all of Beaumont, CA; nieces, Joya Baker, Dana Radding and Nancy Hook; nephews, Paul Emenhiser and Jay Emenhiser, all of California. Mr. Emenhiser was a Master Baker, an art which he cultivated from the age of 14. He and his wife established Russell's Bakery in Albuquerque in 1949. Baking and cooking for his friends and family remained Russell's lifelong passion after his retirement and he took immense pleasure in sharing creations from his kitchen with his many friends. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He was loved so much in this life by so many and he will be missed. God's Kitchen has a new baker. Services will be announced. Viewing will be held Sunday, September 17, 2000, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Funeral services will be Monday, September 18, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Animal Humane Association. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Encinias -- Margarita Encinias, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2000. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cipriano; and two children, Alejandro and Catalina Encinias. Surviving Mrs. Encinias is her son, Eloy Encinias of Orlando, Fl; a sister, Angelina Sandoval of Wagon Mound, NM; five grandchildren, Ralph Encinias, Annette Encinias, Charlotte Encinias, John Encinias and wife, Jennifer, all of Albuquerque, and Traci Eisele and husband, Chad of Ocoee, FL. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren Patrick Encinias, Christopher Encinias, Christine Encinias, Joseph Encinias, Nakkita Encinias, and Jonathan Encinias Jr., all of Albuquerque, and Tyler Adrian Eisele of Ocoee, FL; and several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Abelino Benevidez. Mrs. Encinias will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may visit from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, and on Monday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Alameda Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Garcia -- Rose C. Garcia, of Old Town, born A.D. March 19, 1914, entered everlasting life on September 12 A.D. 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago M. Garcia; survived by daughter, Rachel and husband, Leo Armijo; daughter, Suzie and husband, Salo Sigala; one sister, Rachel C Debaca; sister-in-law, Frances Luna; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Rose, in her last days, received great comfort and joy by the Holy Spirit in praise and worship, and by participating in Passover. At exactly 4:01 p.m., after the words,"Thank you Jesus, Halleluyah", she entered into the arms of Adonai. A Memorial service for all family and friends will be held at Maranatha Bible Church, 457 57th NW, Albuquerque; reception following. We in Messiah will meet her again - Halleluyah.

Gensinger -- George C. Gensinger, age 66 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, died on September 12, 2000. He was born in Rahway, NJ and had been a substitute teacher at Hawthorne Elementary School since retirement from the US Air Force. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by five sons, George Gensinger, Kevin Gensinger and wife, Cheryl, J.R. Gensinger, Larry Gensinger and wife, Darla and Christopher Gensinger, all of Albuquerque; and a granddaughter, Andrea Gensinger. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. in Chapel of Sandia, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hawthorne Elementary School, 420 General Somervell NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123, where contributions will be used for school supplies and other needs of the children that meant so much to George. Gonzales -- Baby Juliette Samantha Garcia-Gonzales, our Precious Little Angel, born August 28, 2000, went to be with our Lord on September 14, 2000. She is survived by her mother, Annadine Garcia; her father, Sammy Gonzales; brother, Steven Gonzales; grandfather, Floyd Garcia; grandmothers, Anne Serna and Joanne Gonzales; and many family members. Juliette, you were taken from us so quickly, we don't understand why, but we do not question God's will. We now that the Heavens are glorious because they have welcomed home our beautiful angel. The love we all feel for you is overwhelming and we will never forget you. You touched each and every one of our lives and our lives are richer for having known you, if only for a little while. We are blessed to have a direct link to God through you. We love you and will miss you, but we take comfort in knowing that someday we will be reunited with you in heaven. Rest in peace, our precious little angel. A graveside blessing will be Monday at 12:00 noon in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NW. Deacon Tibo Chavez will officiate. Hatchitt -- James T. Hatchitt, 51, died Wednesday, September 13th after suffering a heart attack on Saturday, September 9th. Funeral services were held Saturday in Albuquerque. The Hatchitt family wishes to thank all of those who showed their love and support during the past week. Headrick -- Betty Headrick, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Thursday, September 14, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Mona Bossard and husband, Clarence of Bosque Farms; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Headrick was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Headrick; son, Paul R. Morton; two sisters; and two brothers. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Clyde Stanfield officiating. Hopkins -- Louis Allen (Hoppy) Hopkins, Jr., 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946 died Wednesday, September 6, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 56 year, Mary Kate and B.J.; brother, Arthur S. Hopkins and wife, B. of Panama City, FL; and cousin, Rev. and Mrs. Paul Hopkins of Albuquerque. Mr. Hopkins was graduated from the University of Michigan in 1941 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. During WWII, Major Hopkins served in the Army Air Corps until 1945. He specialized in ground radar. He went on to complete his Masters in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1946. Mr. Hopkins began a career with Sandia National Laboratories in 1946 that spanned more than three decades. During these years, Mr. Hopkins held positions as Director of Engineering II, and directorships of Component Development, Manufacturing Development, Electromechanical and Chemical Component Development, Space Power Systems, and Development Testing. In 1974, he assumed the position of Technical Staff Director until his retirement in 1977. Mr. Hopkins was a member of Eta Kappa Nu, Sigma Xi, Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Tau Ti. He was also a member and former chairman of the Bernalillo County Planning and Zoning Commission, a member and former Vice-Chairman of the Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation Board, a member of the Council of Governments-Airport Advisory Committee, a member of the Corrales Fire Commission and a member and former Section Chairman of the IEEE. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2000, 11:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church with Father Clarence Galli as Celebrant. Lopez -- Baby Bethany Lopez, 2 months, passed away on September 15, 2000.
