Quinn -- John F. Quinn, 86, died on February 4, 2000 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He belonged to the Carmelites and Knights of Columbus and was a long time and active member of Church of the Risen Savior. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna in 1965; his second wife, Frances; and his son, Stephen M. Quinn. He is survived by nine children, John F. Quinn of Pennsylvania, Marie F. Segura of California, William F. Quinn of Albuquerque, James F. Quinn of California, Arthur B. Quinn of Albuquerque, Lawrence A. Quinn and Constance M. Poston, both of California, Catherine F. Arevalo of Albuquerque and Laura F. Stalker of Missouri; a sister, Laura Frances Manktelow of California; and 29 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation was from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, followed by a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Rogers -- Falconerez Mary Rogers, 90, passed away February 4, 2000. A native New Mexican, member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Church and active in the Alameda Senior Citizen Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce T. Rogers. She is survived by her daughters, Sally Huddleston; four grandchildren, Prescilla Taylor, James Huddleston, Tommy Huddleston, Billy Huddleston; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Eufelia Hartt; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Nativity Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2000. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2000. Castro -- Aloata Ann Castro, 44, a resident of Albuquerque for two years, died Sunday, January 30, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Mike Castro; children, Raven, age 15, Amanda, age 13, Mikey, age 8 and Alexander, age 7; grandson, Zane, eight weeks; mother, Beth Shustella, all of Albuquerque; sister, Debora Zahn and husband, Warner of Marietta, GA; brother, Frank Shustell, Jr. of Bullard, TX; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank James Shustella. Ann was a loving mother and daughter and will be missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Friday, February 11, 2000, 1:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 1613 Arizona NE with Pastor Curtis Goldman officiating. Shaw -- Juliette (Deena) Shaw went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2000 after a lengthy illness. Deena was born on May 28, 1953, the daughter of Leo A. and Connie S. Sena Baca in Albuquerque, NM. Deena had worked for Honeywell for the past 15 years. She had been a Quality Control Technician in the Defence Avionics division. She was preceded in death by one brother, James D. Baca in 1990. Deena is survived by her parents, Leo and Connie Baca of Albuquerque; one brother, Nicky D. Baca and wife, Barbara of Albuquerque; one sister, Connie Jo Baca and husband, Steele LaVail of Albuquerque; four nieces, Jennifer Baca, Jayme Baca-Ortiz, Juliette and Joelle Baca; and two nephews, Jeremy Baca and Jimmy Baca II. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 7, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, (Indian School at Martha), with Fr. Domingo Gumpal, MS as celebrant. Schaeffer -- Sadie Schaeffer, 69, a resident of Belen, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2000. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She and Jim never had children, but they considered their nieces and nephews as their grandchildren and held a very special place in their hearts for their Godson, Eric Villanueva. Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano and Delfina Serrano. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James of the family home in Belen; six sisters, Lilly Villanueva, Olivia Lopez and her husband, Felix, Carmen Salazar and her husband, Wilbert, Isabel Serrano, Dolores Maestas and her husband, Fidel, Susan Garcia and her husband, Andy; three brothers, Norberto Serrano and his wife, Suzie, Abelino Serrano and his wife, Connie, Carlos Serrano and his wife, Corie; one sister-in-law, Wanda Mangram and her husband, Virgil; her Godson, Eric Villanueva. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Jefferson -- Mr. James A. Jefferson Sr., a former resident, passed away in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 27, 2000, where he resided for the past six years. He leaves to mourn Juanita, his wife; five children; and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church, today at 3:00 p.m., Rev.
