Williams -- Mary Elizabeth Williams, 77, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Calvin Williams of Albuquerque; sons, James C. Williams and wife, Susan of Arlington, TX and Steven D. Williams of Albuquerque; and brother, William F. Botwinis of Cortez, CO. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Bullock. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was involved with the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Williams started her career at Albuquerque National Bank where she worked for 11 years. Then she worked for 44 years with her husband, Calvin Williams at their State Farm Agency on 4th Street until they retired in 1999. Services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead SW, with Dr. Terry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Coberly -- S. Elinor Coberly, 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001. She is survived by her son, James R. Winchell and wife, Ruth of Albuquerque; daughter, Barbara Bear and husband, James E. of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Tamara Worley, Mary Alice Kaminski, Patti Avants, Tracy Hurley, and Bob E. Coberly; and great-grandchildren, Kelsey Worley, Alisa Worley, Patrick Jester, Christa Jester, and Connor Hurley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin W. Coberly in 1966. Mrs. Coberly worked at Sandia National Laboratories for almost 19 years. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Services will be held Friday, May 11, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Charles Price officiating. Interment will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Lee -- Bobby Joe Lee, 67, a 25 year resident of Tijeras, NM formally of Los Lunas, NM passed away Friday, May 4, 2001 in Tijeras, NM. Bobby was born August 12, 1933 in Melrose, NM to Jesse Alexander and Frances Jane (Stone) Lee. He married Sandra K. Walton, May 15, 1980 in Moriarty, NM. Bobby served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Melrose Baptist Church in Melrose, NM, and a very active member of the "Coffee Club." Bobby will be remembered for his great sense of humor, and his love for his wife, family, especially his grandchildren, and all of his friends. Bobby is survived by his wife of 21 years Sandra K. Lee, of Tijeras, NM; four sons Roger D. Lee, Bert A. Lee, and wife Ronda, Steven R. Lee, Burt Shilling and Suzi Bowles, and Ernie Antonio and wife Cheryl; two daughters Pamela L. Armstrong and husband Richard, and Vanessa K. Pacheco and husband Joe; one brother Gerald W. Lee and wife Lynn C.; three sisters Rita J. Russell and husband Phillip L., Ruby F. Killion and husband Lloyd, and Bertha F. Patterson; his mother-in-law Eda M. Davis; seven grandchildren, Jerame Ruland, Jennifer Lee, Sean Chandanais, Tavanna Christy, Richard Pacheco, David Pacheco, and James Pacheco. A Memorial service will be held Friday May 11, 2001-2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Tijeras with Pastor Mark Waite officiating. The burial will be Monday May 14, 2001- 10:00AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.

Norris -- Hazel Norris, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Boner and husband, Bob of Albuquerque and Karla Canfield and husband, Kip of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Susie Worsham of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Kathy Smith and husband, Randy, Karen Chavez , Kate Logan, Kristen Canfield and Gregory Canfield; great-grandchildren, Becky Smith, Kristopher Chavez and Kayla Chavez and several nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her husbands, William Harold Christensen and George Norris; son, James K. Christensen and grandson, Rick Boner. Services will be held in Topeka, Kansas at a later date.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2001, in the Chapel at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave, with Chaplain Larry Wills officiating. Meyer -- Barbara A. Meyer, 68, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 5, 2001. She was born to Bert and Dorthy Yoss on June 5, 1932, in Casper, Wyoming. As a child she had traveled all over the country with her parents. Barbara settled in Albuquerque in 1955, with her husband, James E. Meyer, where they raised their seven children. Barbara was a volunteer for many years with the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary. She was named New Mexico's Outstanding Volunteer of the year in 1981, and St. Joseph's Volunteer Auxiliary of the Year in 1982. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two children, Renee M. Dunlap and John C. Meyer. She is survived by five of her children, Richard D. Meyer, Michele M. Worm, Robert J. Meyer, James P. Meyer Jr., and Nicole A. Meyer, her two brothers, Robert Byram and Charles Yoss; her sister, Charlene Meyer; nine grandchildren; and her friend and companion of five years, Jose M. Rael. There will be a Rosary Service at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Rd., Corrales, NM. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Barbara's name to either the Heart Hospital of New Mexico, 504 Elm NE, 87102, or to the New Mexico Aids Services Inc., 625 Truman St., 87110. Miller -- Laura E. Miller, 85, A resident of Santa Fe, died peacefully at a local retirement center on Monday evening, May 7, 2001. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, former New Mexico State Police Captain Kenneth K. (KK) Miller in 1994. Born in Cooperton, Oklahoma on September 2, 1915 to Herman C. and Mary E. Hughes, her family moved to Colfax County New Mexico when she was an infant. She moved to Albuquerque in 1931 and lived there until 1980 when she married KK Miller and moved to Santa Fe. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association, the Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem and Nell's Service Club. She attended Sunday School and Church at St. John's United Methodist Church and was a member of the Tap Dancing Grandmothers. She is survived by her son, Judge James Roy Wheeler and wife, Juanita of Santa Fe; grandson, Gregory S. Wheeler of Albuquerque; grandaughter, Roxane Butts of Capitan, NM; sister, Frances Bradford of Hot Springs Arkansas and Betty Bowling of Decatur, Alabama. Her companion of the last two years was Arthur Lentz. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2001 at Berardinelli Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. John's United Methodist Church with Rev. J. Bradley Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque. Reese -- Kelly G. Reese, age 43, died suddenly. Kelly was from Fort Bayard, NM formerly of Lansing, IL. Loving son of Graham and the late Elizabeth and the late Mae Reese.
