LOVATO -- Andrew J Lovato 32, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2009. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Roseanne Campos. He is survived by his father Andy Lovato; sister Antoinette Gallegos; fiancee Alisha Contreras and her two sons Jacob and Elijah Contreras; daughter Maryah Lovato; nieces Alisha Gallegos and Jamilia Campos; nephew Frankie Gallegos; stepbrother Adrian Campos and many friends and relatives. "Andrew we love you very much, we will miss your beautiful smile and your loving spirit!" Rosary was held at Sacred Heart Church on Monday October 12th 2009. A funeral mass will be at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at Sacred Heart Church. Pallbearers will be: Frankie Gallegos, John Montes, Evan Ledon, Duke and Lalo Sanchez, Shawn Darley, Corey Parks and Huero. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

ESPINOSA -- Carlota Espinosa peacefully passed away at home on September 30, 2009. She was 94 years old. She is survived by her four daughters, Pauline Zamora, husband Seyo, Susie King, husband Jake, Nella Tafoya, husband Ross, Stella Marquez, husband Tommy; and a granddaughter, Victoria Varela, whom she raised as a daughter. She also had a very special grandson, Ernest Segura, who was always by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Miguel; and her four sons, Pete, Victor, Bonifacio and Phillip. She was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Esther Torrez, Elenore Trujillo and Francis Lucero; and one brother Ciriaco Gallegos. She is also survived by two sisters, Barbarita Aragon and Criselda Saavedra; and one brother Nabor Gallegos. Carlota had 33 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, a generous grandmother and a very loving friend. She will be missed by everyone. Rosary will be held at San Ignacio Church, in Martinez town, at 1300 Walter N.E. on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. and a mass will follow at 10:00 a.m.

ESPINOSA -- Carlota Espinosa peacefully passed away at home on September 30, 2009. She was 94 years old. GARCIA -- Refugio Ray Garcia passed away peacefully on October 6, 2009 at Las Palomas Care Center in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on March 2. 1922 in San Jose, New Mexico to Frutoso and Magadalena (Gallegos) Garcia. Ray is preceeded in death by his beloved wife, Francis and devoted daughter, Donna Garcia (Carlos Pimentel), brother, Jose F. Garcia, and sister, Bella Eva Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving daughter, Dorothy Otero (Craig): his grandchildren: Delano Garcia (Atalie), Feliciano Otero, Elijah Pimentel (Sonya), and Maya White (John) and great-grandchildren: Francis Jane and Cyanne Garcia, and Eliz White. Surviving siblings: Jimmy (Isabella) Garcia [Santa Fe], J. David (Vera) Garcia, Marie Celina Toivanen, and Jerry (Frances) Garcia [Grants] and many caring nieces and nephews. He attended the Santa Fe School for the Deaf for his public school education. After graduation, Ray enjoyed traveling and living in different parts of the U.S and loved telling friends and family of his various experiences. He resided in Minnesota, Richmond, CA and Chicago, Ill. While attending vocational school in Chicago, he married the love of his life, Francis Baenen. They moved to Albuquerque, NM in the late 50's, where he was self-employed as a television technician. He later worked in the food service business and retired from the Veteran's Hospital. After retirement, he dedicated twelve years to the care of his wife during her long illness. Ray was a great fan of sports: baseball, football, basketball, golf, and tennis. He loved watching televised sports with family and friends. Mr. Garcia was well known in the deaf community, an active member of the Barelas SC Hearing Impaired Senior Citizens Group and received numerous awards for his continuous service and contributions to hearing impaired causes. His articulate and eloquent sign language will be missed by his family and friends. His admiring family wants to thank him for his benevolent presence in their lives. A church service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish in Albuquerque.

GONZALES -- Arcenio Gonzales, 98, of Sena, NM went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 5, 2009. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Mrs. Magdalena Garcia; his children, Antonia Gallegos, Horacio Gonzales and wife, Viola, Roger Gonzales and wife, Eppie, Meliton Gonzales and wife, Cecilia, Eloise Okada and husband, Koichi, Arturo Gonzales and wife, Dulcinea, Fermin Gonzales and wife, Viola, Dulcinea Biggers and husband, Julian, and Casimiro Encinias and wife, Esquipulita; his sister; Nestorita Baca; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gonzales was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A second visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Villanueva, NM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Villanueva, NM, with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Thomas Kayammakal, presider. Interment will follow at Sena Cemetery, Sena, NM. SEVESKA -- Gerald P. Seveska, 71, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1977, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Gerald was born August 14, 1938 the son of Anthony and Delia Koivunen Seveska in Waukegan, Illinois. He served in the United States Air Force; was a member of the Civil Air Patrol; and had worked for PNM 35 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his father; Tony and one brother, Dennis. Gerald is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Seveska of Rio Rancho; mother, Delia Seveska of Gurnee, IL; three sons, Ed Seveska of New Orleans, LA, Chris Seveska and fiancee Darice Gallegos of Albuquerque, and Scott Seveska, Sr. and wife Dolores of Rio Rancho; one grandson, Scott Seveska, Jr. of Rio Rancho; two brothers, Richard Seveska and wife Kathy of St. Louis, MO, and Tom Seveska and wife Pam of Gurnee, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. ABEYTA -- Carols G. Abeyta Sr. 45 went home to the Lord on Tuesday September 29, 2009 with his loving family at his side. Carlos owned Precision Janitorial Services, he also loved fishing, hunting and playing his guitar. Carlos is survived by his wife Trudy; and daughters Shantel and Vania Abeyta; mom Vera; and dad Ted Abeyta; and grandson Carlos G. Abeyta III; Sisters-in-law, Monica Gutierrez husband Jimmy, Tina Gallegos fiancee Robert Valdez, Jamielyn Lovato husband Daniel; Brothers-in-law, Phillip Gallegos, wife Roseanne and Gilbert Gallegos partner Dalton Maze, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Carlos was preceded in death by his son Carlos G. Abeyta Jr.; Athena Gallegos; in-laws, Gilbert and Frances Gallegos.
