MOORE -- Jimmy Dee Moore, born April 4, 1954 in Roswell, NM died Friday, August 13, 2004. He was a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 2000. He is survived by his sons, James Moore and Joshua Moore both of Phelan, CA; mother Othel Moore of Albuquerque, NM; sister Pennie Cornell of Santa Fe, NM; brothers, Johnny Moore of Albuquerque, NM and Timothy Moore of Adelanto, CA; and special friends Arleen Todd and Emerald Lueras. MORALES -- Manuel B. Morales, 68, a resident of Albuquerque entered into eternal rest Friday, July 9, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Morales was born Nov. 2, 1935, in Chambrino, NM to Juan P. Morales and Clementa Barreras Morales. He retired as a Postal Clerk from the United States Postal Service in Albuquerque. He was a member of the Zapata Club and was a communicant of the Catholic Church. Mr. Morales served his country in the United States Army in the Mortar Battery, 1st Airborne Battle Group, 506th Infantry. Mr. Morales is survived by his loving companion, Beth Hambay of the family home; a son, Ezzard Morales of Albuquerque; three daughters, Patricia Gutierrez of Torrance, CA, Ramona Moseley, and Georgia Franke, both of Albuquerque; a brother, Y.B. Morales and his wife, Ermie; and a sister, Jessie M. Torres, all of Bayard. Also surviving are his grandchildren, James, Jessica, and Darren Gutierrez of Torrance, CA; Casey, Blake, Garrett, and Jarrod Moseley; Chelsea and Isabella Frankel, Amanda and Tiffany Morales, all of Albuquerque; and one great-grandson, Zachary Gutierrez of Silver City. CISNEROS -- Mr. Jose R. Cisneros, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 12, 2004. Mr. Cisneros is the beloved husband of 62 years to Mrs. Beatrice Cisneros. Mr. Cisneros is also survived by two daughters, Patricia C. Chavez and husband, Robert, Rosalie E. Romero and husband, Leandro; one son, Rolando G. Cisneros and wife, Andrea; five grandchildren, Lisa Contreras and husband, Carlos, Andrea Carvajal and husband, Scott, Vincent Chavez, Carlos Romero, and Emmet Chavez; two great-grandsons, Jayson Contreras and Nicolas Carvajal; five sisters, Amanda Parks, Hortencia Sullivan and husband, Jim, Rose Montano, Vivian Lujan and husband, Celso and Lupe Crouse; three brothers, Max Cisneros and wife, Elida, Frank Cisneros and wife, Mela, Robert Cisneros and wife, Carmen; many extended family members and friends. Mr. Cisneros was a member of the Catholic Church. Jose graduated from St. Joseph College and from the International Police Academy in Washington D.C. Jose had accomplished and had a successful law enforcement career with the local, state and federal government. Upon his retirement he committed his life to ministry. Jose was a very special individual and loved by many. Jose gave of himself, his time, and gifts to anyone in need. Jose has now been reunited with his family who has preceded him in death. Our husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend left this world to begin a new journey with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A visitation for Mr. Cisneros will be Sunday afternoon, August 15, 2004 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Deacon J.O. Luna. A final visitation will be Monday morning, August 16, 2004 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Daniel Balizan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Cisneros, Vincent Chavez, Emmet Chavez, Carlos Romero, James Lujan, and Richard Cisneros. WERNER -- Marina Rae Werner, our precious little angel, went home safely in the arms of Jesus on August 9, 2004. Our "little peanut" was a blessed gift that God gave us. She touched our lives for a short six weeks, but it felt like a lifetime. She is eternally loved, and will be deeply missed forever. She is survived by her loving parents, Cheri and Ken; her two loving sisters, Brittney and Melanie; her loving grandparents, Darla McDade, and Ted and Mary Werner; her loving aunt, Renee Clark, her husband, Robert, and cousins, Ryan, Reanne and Ray; her uncle, Steve Werner and cousin, James Patrick; her uncle, Richard Werner, his wife, Lisa and cousins, Matthew and Stephanie. All will deeply miss her. She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss her. She is preceded in death by her loving grandfather, Ray Neal McDade, and her aunt, Lorraine Mary Werner. Services are being held on Saturday, August 14, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Albuquerque, 2616 Cardenas, NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE. ALTWIES -- James Altwies, 70, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, August 9, 2004, in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Grand Rapids, OH on April 29, 1934, he was raised in Tiffin, OH, where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. In 1952 he joined the U.S. Marines for a 3 year tour of duty and returned to Ohio in 1955 to marry the love of his life, Janet Wurm. After graduation from Tiffin University, he enlisted as an officer in the U.S. Air Force in 1963. He traveled extensively and took his family on many adventures throughout the U.S. and Europe. His military career included tours of duty in Germany, Illinois, Vietnam, Hawaii and New Mexico. While in the military, he obtained his Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling. After retirement from the USAF, he was employed at Sandia National Laboratories and was subsequently Campaign Manager for U.S. Congressman Steve Schiff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Altwies; and brothers, Charles and Richard. He is survived by his wife, Janet of Phoenix, AZ; and daughters, Julie Altwies, Jolene Altwies, and Jane Altwies; sons-in-law, J. Michael Kavanaugh and Michael Ramirez; grandchildren, Allison and Abraham Ramirez, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Altwies and his wife, Mercedes, of Arizona; sisters, Rosemary Clouse of Florida, Joyce Florence and her husband, Roland; and sister-in-law, Leona Altwies of Ohio; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Kathleen Klopp, and her husband, Dean, Margaret Warnement, Dorothy Company Carlson, Nancy Warnement and her husband, Richard; and brother-in-law Michael Wurm and his wife, Carolyn. Services for James Altwies will be at 3:00 p.m. on August 13, 2004, at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel in Sun City West, AZ. FRANCIS -- James Crawford (Jim) Francis, born in the USAF Hospital at Andrews AFB, MD on February 5, 1962, died at the age of 42, as a result of a senseless automobile 'road-rage' incident in Tijeras Canyon on August 9, 2004. A lover of both life and people, Jim was also the 'patron saint' of all animals, especially his three cats. A great sports fan, particularly of the Boston Red Sox, and an all-seasons athlete, he played competitive sports most of his life, but his first love really was hockey. A musician of long interest, he played bass and traveled with several musical groups during his adult life. He is a graduate of El Dorado High School. Jim is survived by his mother, Martha Francis, his father, Bob Francis, both of Albuquerque; his older brother, Miller and Jim's very best friend and companion, Jeanette Torre; his stepmother, Bettye Rae Francis; stepsister, Tracy McReynolds (formerly of Albuquerque and now of Olympia, WA.) and her two sons, Chris and Kyle; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Larry (Lawrence) in 1983. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 4th and Lead. GARCIA -- Emiliano (Emil) Ronald Garcia, age 51, beloved father, son, and brother was called home by our Heavenly Father and Savior, Monday, August 9, 2004. Emil was born on November 21, 1952; and was a life long resident of Albuquerque. He is survived by his son, Nathaniel (Nate) Garcia; his loving mother, Minerva (Minnie) Garcia; his sisters, Kathy Kaiser, Ree Garcia and husband, James, Angelica Tyler and husband, Dan, and Diana Rincon and husband, Tim; his fiancee, Susan Trimm; three nephews; three nieces; one step-daughter; and several other great-nieces and -nephews; and a host of friends. Emil will be greatly missed by his loving family. A rosary will be recited this evening, Friday, August 13, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary.
