Rust -- Harold Rust, 86, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died Sunday, September 20, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 63 year, Evelyn Rust of Albuquerque; daughter, Sue Tenbroeck and husband, Charles of Albuquerque, grandchildren, Donna DeSousa and husband, Roy of California, Chuck Tenbroeck, of Albuquerque, Ruth Sullivan and husband Mike of Roswell, C.W. Rust II of Oak Ridge, TN, Glenda Faataofe and husband, Fea of Washington, Christine Mierow and husband Steve of Dallas, TX, and David Rust of Colorado Springs, CO; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers, Donald Rust and wife, Alice of Ada, OK and Tom Rust and wife, Carol of Bend, OR; numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; and sisters-in-law, Edith Milton of Vernon, TX and Grace Hutchins of Hurst, TX. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ramona Mae Rust; son, Carroll Wayne Rust; brothers, Eugene and Everett Rust; and sister, Lola Smith. Mr. Rust was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He will be missed by all. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date. Greer -- Jeannette Weikert Hubbs Greer, 80, passed away Thursday, September 17, 1998 at Parkwood Healthcare Community in Bedford, TX. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James"Jay" C. Greer; son, William H. Greer and wife, Juanita of Hurst, TX; granddaughters, Christi and Holly Greer of Bedford, TX; sisters, Anne Mahoney of Valley Stream, NY; brother, Manly Hubbs of Stony Brook, NY; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Lawrence Hubbs. Jeannette Weikert Hubbs Greer was born January 16, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY to Amanda Weikert Hubbs and Walter Ruland Hubbs. She graduated from the University of Maryland Women's College and Pratt Institute with degrees in Interior Decorating and Library Science. On May 23, 1942, Jeannette married James Cecil Greer. Jay and Jeannette moved to Albuquerque in 1953 and were proprietors of"The Lamp Shop" until her retirement in 1968. They resided in Albuquerque until declining health required a move to Texas to be near their son and daughter-in-law. Jeannette was a longtime member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Albuquerque and active in many volunteer activities. Jeannette was a person of gentle grace and generous heart who not only loved her family, but was a wonderful example of Christian love and charity to family, neighbors, and friends. She left us with a rich heritage of understanding, nurturing and a steadfastness with which God so faithfully gifted her. As our hearts are burdened with pain and sorrow, our spirits soar with the knowledge that she is in the presence of her personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Charles E. Price officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Ethelbah -- Josephine Naranjo Ethelbah, 90, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 1998. She was born on February 13, 1908 in Santa Clara Pueblo. Her parents were Desedario and Rebecca Naranjo. In 1929, she began her career as a registered nurse in Santa Fe. She was an avid fisherman, holding the record for one of the largest fish ever caught at Santa Clara Canyon; a rainbow trout 27 inches long and weighing over 6 1/2 pounds. Mrs. Ethelbah was preceded in death by a son, Retired Master Sergeant Carl Ethelbah on June 17, 1998; a grandson, Charles Robinson on July 26, 1978. She is survived by her two beloved children, Anita Ethelbah Eicke and Upton Ethelbah Jr.; her grandchildren, Adrian and Peggy Jo Ethelbah, Robert Robinson, Laurie Jo Pierce, Upton Ethelbah and Lucas Ethelbah; and a great-grandchild, Rachel Pierce. Funeral services were held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 1998 at the Santa Clara Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery. Assisting the family as pallbearers were Upton Ethelbah III, Lucas Ethelbah, Tim Pierce, Mike Killman, Jonathon Naranjo and Jerry Vermillion. Named as honorary pallbearers were Albert Naranjo, Darrell Eicke, Bill Vermillion, Charles Dailey, Bob Kettle, Joseph Abeyta Sr., Larry Naranjo, Ray Naranjo. Huff -- Nellmarie B. Huff, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past year and a half, coming to New Mexico from Boerne, Texas. Nellmarie was born July 16, 1908, the daughter of George W. and Anna K. Mader Breitenstein in Martins Ferry, Ohio. She had been a member of the Boerne Reading Club, Friends of the Library, Sons of Herman of Texas, the Boerne United Methodist Church, received the Citizen of the Year Award for Boerne, Texas. Nellmarie is survived by her husband, Arleigh Huff of Rio Rancho; two children, Charles Huff and wife, Mary of Los Alamos, NM, Nancy Jaqua and husband Ed, of Corrales, NM; four grandchildren, David Jaqua and Suzanne Jaqua of Albuquerque, John Huff of Jemez Springs, NM and Maria Huff of Berkley, CA. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 14, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. in the Boerne Cemetery in Boerne, Texas. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho.

Salisbury -- Kenneth J. Salisbury, 76, a resident of Bernalillo died, Thursday, September 10, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wilma; daughter, Carol Salisbury and her husband, Val Marmash; sons, Kenneth D. Salisbury and his wife, Cindie, all of Rio Rancho; and Michael D. Salisbury and his wife, Revonda of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Eve, Mary, Kenny, Christy and Chuck; great-grandchildren, Christina and Lexi; brother, Daryl"Bud" Salisbury and his wife, Florence of Cortland, IL; and many nieces, nephews and honorary kids. Kenneth had a 30 year career in the US Navy, was a veteran of WWII, former Undersheriff in Sandoval County and a founding member of the Sandoval County Sheriffs Posse. Kenneth was a loving husband, an exceptional parent, and a wonderful son-in-law, grandfather, father-in-law and surrogate father to many people. Services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel with Rev. Charles Becknell officiating. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m. in Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mullins -- Ross Mullins, 75, a New Mexico resident since 1953, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 1998 in his home in Albuquerque. Ross was born on January 15, 1923 in Wood, VA. He was a member of the Company B 343 Infantry of the United States Army from January 1943 to June 1946, where he served as Private First Class. Company B 343 served with the"Blackhawk" Infantry Division of the German-Austrian border when World War II ended in Europe May 8, 1945 V.E. Day Ross then graduated with an electrical engineering degree from the University of Iowa in 1948. He worked as an electrical engineer for the Public Service Company of New Mexico from June 1953 to June 1984. During that time, he served as Field Engineer from 1953-55; Division Manager in Deming from 1960-68; returning to Albuquerque in 1968 as Vice President until retirement in 1984. During his life, Ross was a member of various civic and social organizations, including Masonic Lodge, president of the Deming Chamber of Commerce, president of the Chaparral Girl Scout Council in Deming, Rotary International, and Central United Methodist Church. His hobbies included golfing, gardening, picture framing, and trading on the stock market. Ross married the former Maribel Pratt of Cedar Rapids, IA on December 19, 1947. Ross and Maribel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family last December in Albuquerque. Ross is survived by his loving wife, Maribel; two daughters, Janet Mullins and husband, Pat Matzner of Phoenix, AZ and Patti Gallegly and husband, Tim of El Paso, TX; his son, Mike Mullins of Midland, TX; his grandchildren, Mike Gaskin and wife, Ann, Cris Gaskin and wife, Kim and Mary and Katie Gallegly, and Stephanie Mullins; sisters, Annis Dale and husband, Charles of Virginia, Grace Allio of Virginia, Zelma Pattillo and husband, Wesley Pat of Alabama and Edith Beverly and husband, Calvin of Ohio; and brothers, Hampton Mullins and wife, Billie of Ohio and Edgar Mullins and wife, Jeanne of Virginia and Charles Mullins and wife, Susie of Ohio. Ross was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed a good game of golf, a strong conversation, a good box of ice cream, a well manicured lawn and garden, and most of all going out of his way to help his family and friends in any and every way possible. Ross always made sure that each family member had enough coffee, toilet paper, and film to last until his next visit. We love you Papaw and will always keep you close to our hearts! Memorial services will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave NE, with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Santillano -- Mr. Paul C. Santillano died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 68. Mr. Santillano was a member of the St. Edwin Catholic Church and he was a retired police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. Mr. Santillano was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was awarded 2 Purple Hearts. He was a member of the DAV Chapter 3, the VFW, the American Legion Post 69, the Paralyzed Vets of America and the Zapata Club. Mr. Santillano is survived by his wife, Ursula Santillano, of the family home; daughters, Connie Santillano of Los Angeles, CA, and Juanita Santillano of Bakersfield, CA; sisters, Guadalupe Tapia of Paicoma, CA, and Petra Myers of Los Angeles, CA; and four grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Santillano will be held on Monday at the St. Edwin Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Toby Lucero, Ricardo Vasquez, Perry Lucero, Johnnie Ray Gutierrez, Charles Lucero and Edward Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Fabien Anaya, Willie Salazar, Estevan Martinez, Viola Lucero, Bennie Lopez, Amy Isiacs, Gloria Martinez and Ivan Quintana. Marble -- Esther"Birdie" A. Marble, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Thursday, September 3, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. Grant of Albuquerque; one grandson, Michael Wallace and wife, Brenda of Farmington; two granddaughters, Leanne Miller and husband, James and Karen D. Grant of Albuquerque; sister, Helen Robinson of Roswell, NM; niece, Louise Duyfhuizen and husband, Aerie Dirk of Roswell; nephew, LeRoy Petersen and wife, Helen of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Central United Methodist. Mrs. Marble was an avid knitter and crocheter and came to Albuquerque from Saginaw, MI in 1962 to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She worked for many years in the Drapery and Bedding Department of Kistler Collister where she retired. Esther belonged to Knitting Clubs and Martha Group in Church.
