Salazar -- E. Richard Salazar, 72, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, June 28, 1998. He is survived by his brother, Ronald E. Salazar and wife, Gloria of Los Lunas; nieces, Deborah Maria Creel and husband, Troy Dennis of Casper, WY, Lorraine Chavez and husband, Marc and Stephanie Diane Gutierrez and husband, Dell, all of Belen; and nephew, Ernie R. Salazar. Mr. Salazar served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He worked many years with Associated Grocers of Colorado. Mr. Salazar was an avid gardner. He was a great uncle and loved by his family. Cremation has taken place and Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, with Father James Moore, Celebrant. Private interment of cremains will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.

Sanchez -- Nancy Sanchez, age 44, passed away on June 26, 1998. Nancy will be most remembered for her sense of humor, her determination, her strength and her triumph in life. She will be missed by her family, aunt and uncle, Max and Mary Ann Sanchez of Albuquerque; her sister, Silvia and husband, Cliff Steubben; her sister, Barbara Sanchez of Clovis; her brothers, James Sanchez of Albuquerque, Robert Sanchez of Santa Fe and Gilbert Sanchez of Clovis. She will also be greatly missed by people who knew her and cared for her during the last few years of her life, Betty Young, Renee Broyles, Howard Ashford, Barbara Blea, Derrick Snider, John Numunya, Claudia Hoff, Jackie McKinny, Isahiah Carter, Jacki West, Terri Hellmer and Sally Faubian. Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Wednesday at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Private burial will take place at a later time. Skasik -- Frederick August Skasik, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died on Saturday, June 27, 1998, after an extended period of coronary illness. He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Frederick T. Skasik and wife, Joyce, David A. Skasik and wife, Melissa, and Gregory C. Skasik and wife, Ann; grandchildren, Bridget Goldfarb, Suzanne Skasik, Eric Skasik, Michael Skasik, James Adams, and Jody Adams; great-grandchildren, Lauren Goldfarb, Kyle Goldfarb, and Jacob Skasik; and Helen's family. Mr. Skasik was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mildred M. Skasik. Fred took great pride in the freedom of America and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II having served at Iwo Jima and other Pacific assignments. He spend his working career as a production manager for both ACF and the General Electric Plants. He was a member of the Bear Canyon Senior Citizens Center. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 1998, 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Rev. Allen Stanley officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Michael Skasik, Eric Skasik, Tom Edmondson, Bryan Parker, Hal Erekson, and John Goldfarb. Stack -- Iris D. Stack, 83, a resident of Albuquerque for more than 40 years, died Sunday, June 28, 1998. She is survived by her nieces, Sandra K. Raeuchle of Ft. Worth, TX, Debra Ann Collins and Billie Jo Daugherty, both of San Angelo, TX, Paula Sue Mueller of Dallas, TX, and Rena Lea Daugherty of Albuquerque; nephew, Patrick Ainsworth of Austin, TX; and additional grandnieces and grandnephews. She is now joined with her husband, Paul W. Stack. Mrs. Stack worked as a teacher at the Laguna Indian Pueblo. She was a member of Eastern Star and the U.S.O. Mrs. Stack was a big supporter of our country's military veterans. She was also a member of the Netherwood Park Church of Christ. Mrs. Stack was very active in her community and well loved by all. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, San Mateo and I-40, with dear friend, Dr. Sam Soleyn officiating. Tafoya -- Rafael G. Tafoya, 68, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, June 27, 1998. He was born June 6, 1930 in Santa Fe, NM to Rafael and Manuelita Tafoya. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Erlinda Tafoya, April 7, 198. He is survived by his son, Gilbert and wife, Tina; four daughters, Tina Couffer and husband, Bill, Geraldine Roberts, Patricia Fitzgerald and husband, Lee, Della Tafoya, all of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Islas and husband, Jesse, Rosa Montoya, both of Sacramento, CA. Friends and family may visit from 6:00 p.m. to the time of service, which will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. this evening in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., at Mount Calvary Cemetery, with Rev. G.R. Patrick officiating. Wilson -- William H. Wilson, 67, architect, father, husband, and friend, died peacefully on June 24, 1998 in Longview, TX. He is survived by his wife, Emma and son, Eric of the family home; his daughter, Katherine Duquette; and sons, William, Phillip and Kerry Wilson of Albuquerque; his brother, Bob Wilson of Augusta, GA; and sister, Sarah Jane Waller of Gulfport, MS; and eight grandchildren; and numerous friends. Bill was a veteran of the armed forces. He graduated from K State University in 1957. He was a resident of Albuquerque and a practicing architect for 20 years. He lived his last 20 years in Texas. Bill was involved with the Boy Scouts, Kawanis Club, Elks Club, A.I.A., and Search and Resuce. He enjoyed motorcycles, photography, camping, railroading, ham radios and being a pilot. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 1, 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Church. A memorial Mass will be said on Thursday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Martinez officiating at Queen of Heaven Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE 87120, or a charity of your choice.

Bowen -- Beth Neel Bowen, 73, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, June 26, 1998. She is loved and will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura C. and Bob Brown of Albuquerque; son, Michael L. Brown and wife, Rhonda of Bertram, TX; her granddaughter, Megan Gutierrez and husband, Steve of Albuquerque; her granddaughter, Heather Elder of Seattle, WA; her grandson, Ted Elder of Seattle, WA; her granddaughter, Carrie Brown of Bertram, TX; grandson, Todd Brown of Bertram, TX; and great-grandson, Joshua Gutierrez. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Gerald Bowen; her brother, F.M. Neel; and her sister, Alice N. Toney. Mrs. Bowen was a graduate of Albuquerque High School in 1940 and a Charter Member of the University of New Mexico Town Club. She worked for twenty years for the U.N.M. School of Medicine. Memorial services will be Wednesday, at Netherwood City Park, on Princeton NE near Indian School Road, 7:30 p.m., with Father Ned Ross officiating. Coleman -- Brother Jamie Coleman, 72, a resident of Albuquerque area since 1970, died Friday, June 26, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Billie J. Coleman of the family home; daughters, Paula Joe May of Topeka, KS, Connie E. Powell and husband, Rick of Albuquerque, and Susie R. Nicholson and husband, Jim of Los Lunas; son, Rev. David J. Coleman, Sr. and wife, Rosellen of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sister, Catherine Younkin of Fayetteville, AR. Brother Jamie was a faithful pastor and evangelist for 41 years at Northdale, Eastern Hills, Girard and Hermosa Baptist Churches. He founded the Living Word Baptist Church in 1981. Brother Jamie preached over 600 revivals throughout the United States. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Living Word Baptist Church, 5700 Coors SW, with Rev. Al Gist officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen, NM. Pallbearers will be J.W. Wondolowski, Coy Davis, Bob Gearey, Joe Baca, Jr., Paul Chavez, and Alex Lujan. Davidson -- Mary June Wright Davidson, 75, passed away June 26, 1998. Born in Louisville, KY on August 23, 1922. A resident of Albuquerque for 70 years. Survived by husband of 59 years, Lester G. Davidson; daughters, Lesta Madeline Moffett, of Bosque Farms, Leslie Anne Gabaldon of Albuquerque and Francis Elaine Hurd, of Oklahoma; son, Lester G. Davidson Jr., of Bosque; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She has lovingly raised four children who are going to miss her. She taught them so much about families and they only hope to have passed those teachings along to their families. Not having any brothers or sisters, she loved being part of her husbands large family and having the brothers and sisters at last. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary (1100 Coal Ave. SE) at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of New Mexico (216 Truman NE, Alb.
