Obituary for Brudidge

Louise Brundidge of Albuquerque, NM, a 30 year resident of the Albuquerque area and previously a 31 year resident of New York, died Sunday, April 22, 2001, in Albuquerque. She was 88. She was a retired principal for Garden Hill School for 13 years from 1958 to 1971. She was also an educator for Overlook School in Dutchess County for two years and at Claverack, NY from 1936 to 1943. The daughter of Arthur Daniel Brundidge and Jeanette Deyo Dubois Brundidge, she was born April 26, 1912 in Walden, New York. She served in the Army during World War II having attained the rank of Major. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma International, Beta Mu Chapter, Champagne, IL. Huguenot Society of New Paltz, NY., Alumni Association, University of Michigan. Order of Americans of Armorial Ancestry., Retired Officers Association., Reserve Officers Association., Elder and Deaconess in Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Albuquerque, NM. She played in the Stoolies at the church which was a handbell group. Survivors include several cousins. She was preceeded in death by her brother, Dr. Arthur Brundidge and sister, Polly Feinberg. A Memorial Service will be at Immanuel Presbyterian Church 114 Carlisle SE on Thursday April 26, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Arrangements were made by Millspaugh Funeral Directors, Walden NY.
