Thelma Argeanas, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, went home to God Friday, November 30, 2001. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but dreams come true at last there is life and joy. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Gibson and Cleta Harkins and husband, Karyl; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters in Texas and Arkansas. Thelma was born on June 25, 1913, and was a longtime member of Albuquerque Bible Church. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
