Obituary for Love

Robert J. Love, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 56 years, died Thursday, December 13, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rachel Love; 10 children; 24 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters; and many nieces, nephews and many friends. Robert Joseph Love was born on September 17, 1919. He was an army veteran and served in North Africa, Italy and France during WWII. He was a former union leader and activist in the Asbestos Workers Local #76. In recent years, Robert was a craftsman and artisan. He was also a philosopher and educator and was well loved by his family and friends. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal SE, with Father Joseph Thai Tran, S.S.S., Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
