Arnie Arias, 54, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, May 17, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Annabel Arias; children, Donna-Marie Pechner and husband, Stuart of Maryland, Robert A. Arias and wife, Minnie of San Diego, Susan-Marie Arias of Albuquerque, Scott A. Arias and wife, Marne of Michigan and Arnie A. Arias, Jr. of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Bailey and Blair Pechner, Travis, Kassidy, Christian, Allison, Cole and Erin Arias; brothers, Jose and wife, Betty Arias and Nick Alarid and wife, Elaine; sisters, Marita Arias and Vivian Cuadra and husband, Pedro; aunt, Loline Arias; mom and dad, Jack and Theresa Alarid. Arnie was the Vice President of the Rio Grande Corvette Club and a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church and Hispano Chamber of Commerce. He owned and operated Arnie's Maintenance. Arnie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 22, 2001, 7:00p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 23, 2001, 10:00a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE., with Father Dennis Garcia, officiating. Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 6:00p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
