Ora Frances Grubb, 89 of Westridge Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Landsun Health Service Center, Carlsbad, New Mexico. She will not lie in state. Entombment was Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Chester T. French Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Memorial Service will be at a later date in Carlsbad. Denton Funchess Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ora Frances Grubb was born Friday, January 26, 1912 to Mack Fenton Grubb and Sarah Dail Badd Grubb in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Miss Grubb was an elementary teacher spending most of her career at Bandelier School in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a year absence as an exchange teacher in Scotland. She was a life long very active member of the Methodist Church. Two brother and sister preceded her in death. Survivors are one sister, Mary Alice Calloway of Tucson, Arizona; 1 Nephew; 3 Nieces; 2 Great-nephews; 2 Great-nieces.
