Angelina E. Parkes, 63, a longtime resident of New Mexico, died on Monday, May 14, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, W.W. Parkes; sons, Matthew W. Parkes and Andrew S. Parkes both of Albuquerque; daughters, Melissa J. Reeves and husband, Jay of Las Cruces, NM and Muriel V. Metler of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Joshua R. Meltler, Katie E. Metler, Melody A. Reeves, Jared W. Reeves, Stacey Reeves and Jessica Reeves; sisters, Mary Seeds and husband, Fred of Fairview, NM and Alice Ulibarri and husband Joe of La Loma, NM; brothers, Thomas Archuleta and wife, Bernie, Juan A. Archuleta, Jr. and Steven Archuleta and wife, Angie all of San Pedro, NM and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Juanita Archuleta and sister, Virginia Harmes. Angelina was a member of Church of the Risen Savior and a previous member of Queen of Heaven Church. She volunteered and was a generous contributor to many charitable organizations throughout Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, May 17, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, Paseo del Norte and Wyoming NE.
