Obituary for Wadell

Eleanor R."Ellie" Wadell, 61, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Lt. Col. James A. Wadell USAF-Retired of Albuquerque; daughters, Lara W. Kelley and husband, Bryan K. of Tucson, AZ and Kristel H. Jonkosky and husband, Charles K. Jr. of Phoenix, AZ. Eleanor faithfully served her country as an Air Force wife and civil servant. She served her community as a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and also taught school. She was of Welsh heritage and grew up in the Philadelphia area. Eleanor was a graduate of Grove City College in Pennsylvania. She loved her family and enjoyed reading, flowers and quilting. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2001, 3:00 p.m. at Kirtland Air Force Base East Chapel, Chaplain Greg L. Woodbury, officiating. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel.
