Obituary for Lowry

Edward C Lowry, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. Edward was born October 17, 1918 the son of Clarence and Edith Maupin Lowry in Leeton, Missouri. He served in the US Air Force, serving during WWII, retiring in 1964 and had been an Engineer Manager with Boeing Company, retiring in 1984. Edward came to Albuquerque the first time while stationed at Kirtland AFB, and then again after retiring. He was a member of the Lions Club and he volunteered at The Storehouse. Edward was preceded in death by his wife Helen in 1999 and one brother. He is survived by his son, Warren Lowry and wife, Madelyn Millholland of Anchorage, AK; two brothers, Gilbert Lowry and wife, Catherine of Shawnee, KS, and Dale Lowry and wife, Paula of Newmont, CA; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Lowry of Leeton, MO; also numerous nieces and nephews, including niece, Sally Baca, Munkres, and great-great-nephews, Isaiah and Eliz Vargas. The Service for Edward will be on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Entombment will follow in the Patriots Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
