Obituary for Otero

Flora M. Otero, 67, a resident of Albuquerque for over 40 years, passed away Monday, July 2, 2001. She was born April 22, 1934, in Las Vegas, NM, the daughter of Frances and Jesus Maese. All those who knew her will remember her laughter, her strength, and her unconditional love. Her greatest enjoyment came from being with family, and of course watching her Dallas Cowboys! Her welcoming arms will be missed by so many. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Max Otero; sons: Michael Otero and wife, Kathe, Robert Otero and wife, Gloria; daughters, Suzanne Cordova and husband, Roger, Dianna Cuaron and husband, Gerard, Helen Quintana and husband, Feliberto; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; many other relatives and longtime friends. Viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, July 5th, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son funeral home. The Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, 8:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mass will be held at Queen of Heaven, Friday, July 6th, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
