Obituary for Dreier

Lorri Anne Dreier, 31, beloved daughter, sister, and servant of Christ, and a resident of Albuquerque for 25 years, died Saturday, June 30, 2001. She is survived by her mother, Gaylia S. Wade and stepfather, Richard M. Wade of Albuquerque; father, Lorrin Dreier and wife, Kovette of Placitas; brother, Christopher Dreier of Albuquerque; grandmothers, Sylvia S. Garrett of Albuquerque and Doris Dreier of Wichita, KS; aunts, Betsy Garrett of Branson, MO and Mary Wiens and husband, Hal of Lenexa, KS; two cousins; her two stepfamilies; and her beloved pets. Lorri Anne was very atheletic throughout her life and loved to read and be in the outdoors. She was also known for her compassion and assistance to abandoned and unwanted animals. On June 30, Lorri surrendered to an agonizing five-year battle with her physical and emotional illness, which she had fought with courage, faith and Jeremiah 29:11. Services will be held Thursday, 3:30 p.m., at Northdale Baptist Church, 123 Osuna Rd. NW, with Rev. Conley Henderson of Pueblo, CO officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE, (323-9000), Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
