Richard B. Emmel, 68, passed away July 26, 2001. Mr. Emmel was born in Herrington, Kansas on July 28, 1932. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Pauline, of Albuquerque; daughters Phyllis LLoyd and Debbie Mercer, both of Edgewood; grandchildren Jeremy and Nathan LLoyd of Edgewood and De'Vel Madrid and her husband Ray, of Albuquerque; great grandchildren Derek and Desiree Madrid; sister Lenora Gist of Golden, CO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Koehler; sister-in-law Leone Peters and her husband Bill, all of Albuquerque; as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Mr. Emmel's name, to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at French's Mortuary, 105000 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 at 2:00 P.M.
