P. Patrick McKernan, 60, a resident of Albuquerque for 22 years, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Anne McKernan; daughters, Kathleen Whitfield and husband, Paul of Riverside, CA and Molly McKernan of Albuquerque; sons, Patrick McKernan and wife, Krista, Michael McKernan, Matthew McKernan, Tim McKernan and Brendan McKernan all of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Michael McKernan of Albuquerque and Kateri Whitfield of Riverside, CA and grandson, Peter Whitfield of Riverside, CA. Pat has been involved with professional baseball for 37 years most notably with the Albuquerque Dukes for 21 years. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 12, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 13, 2001, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation, 2624 Vermont NE, with Father Ronald Bruckner officiating. Friends may visit on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
